I think everyone in the Angelverse should wear special t-shirts.

On the front each one should say:
I HAVE BEEN BETRAYED BY:

And on the back:

Wouldn't it make more sense if the list of names on the back of the shirt were the ones that have betrayed you? That way, any fresh traitors can simply sign their name after they plunge the knife.

Connor acting that way toward her makes complete sense to me. I dont know, maybe its just how I look at it, but because of his past history he really doesnt have a clear head when it comes to making adult, mature relationship choices. Growing up, he was devoid of relationships. The parental figures and friends who should have taught him about that stuff were absent from his life.

He put his trust in Holtz and he was betrayed and lied to. He put his trust in Cordelia and was betrayed and lied to, so much that he tried to commit suicide. Now he finds the one true light in Hell nontheless and falls in love with her, only for that light to go dark.

He is completely justified in his actions.

Angel 19
I think Connor should give Gwen a break. Lots of gratuitous nudity. Very, very interested to see next month what CC's message is?

There's definitely a lot of nudity, but I really think it's the opposite of gratuitous. It's directly related to the plot.

The creation of a character who's has a reason to be nude doesn't make it non-gratuitous, it's the way it's presented that counts. Oz still managed to have clothes hanging around nearby and I've read plenty of fantasy novels where shapeshifters managed to get covered after going into human form. Obviously, this is Kelley's way of doing the shapeshifters. But really, it being plot relevant is a weak excuse for Dez's nudity here.

But as for gratuitous, when you get so many nude shots of all areas of the body - sorry but that wouldn't have gotten by on the TV show and it's even pushing the boundaries of the comic realm to me. And at least on Buffy the nudity is artfully covered - arms over breasts, smoke, strategically placed coverage.

That's not so much the case here in Aftermath. In the preview for #20, apparently Dez has managed to find pants and a jacket to put on, but can't be bothered to use the zipper on said jacket? Sorry, but that's gratuitous. The pants are completely on, no reason for the jacket to not also be covering her except to show the curves of her breasts. Was there a need to show Dez's breasts here? Perhaps that's so we'll recognize her as we the audience certainly aren't used to her wearing clothes.
