Gah this was freakin harder. A lot of Season 5 was cut out of this unfortunately as I had to boil it down.
Top 5 Underrated Buffyverse Episodes
1. Goodbye Iowa
2. The Killer In Me
3. Life Of The Party
4. Awakening
5. Blood Money
Goodbye Iowa is massively underrated, but I love it because we get to cut Riley open and poke around his insides (in the good way). Massive development for Riley and awesome acting for Marc Blucas.
The Killer In Me is one of my faves in Season 7, probably the only one in which i really love Kennedy, and that last scene ALWAYS brings me to tears.
Life Of The Party. No sure why people hate this so much... relationship progression, lots of Lorne, and so much comedy I laugh my a$$ off through this entire episode.
Awakening. People hate this because it's apparently inconsequential. To me, a delicious character study of Angel, and wraps up all the plot threads in a neat little bow complete with happy ending, only to pull the rug out and show us what makes Angel such an awesome show: Nothing comes easy, and the conclusion is never clean and without loss.
Blood Money. Another ep people rag on. Lots of comedy, more dark Angel, and hilarity between Lilah and Lindsey. Good entertainment.

I cannot watch the episodes "You're Welcome" "A Whole in the World" "Not Fade Away" and "Chosen" without getting a tad emontional. Those were the most amazing episodes ever.

Are we doing "favorite" or "best"? 'Cause there are episodes that I consider my favorites, that I freely admit aren't as 'good' as some others. "Fool for Love" is my favorite "Buffy", for example, but "Becoming 1&2" probably gets my vote for 'best'.

Guys, 2-parters really can't be counted as one episode cause that's 2 hours of television versus one, which is just unfair, because then almost every single two parter would make the list due to much more content and goodies than in a regular buffy episode.

I just rewatched Restless last night and I had forgotten what a BRILLIANT episode it was. It pains me but I have to change Storyteller to Restless on my top 10.

5. Restless (David Lynch and Steven Soderbergh meets Joss Whedon)
6. Passion (shows the ruthlessness of Angelus and great acting by everyone)
7. OMWF (Never enjoyed musicals until this episode)
