I think most shows are doing that. Gossip Girl only comes back late January, as I'm sure most of the CW's shows will be doing. It would make sense, considering the Christmas episode is airing about two and a half weeks before Christmas proper.

Two months. Just saying it sounds like forever. Oh well I hope tonight is a good great mid-season finale. Less than a hour to go.
We live as though the world were as it should be, to show it what it can be.

Ho hum episode overall. Nothing terrible, just weaker than the last few week's stronger episodes. The final act was great though, and I enjoyed Brittany's storyline. Lea Michele did some great work this week.
Could've done without the Sue=Grinch stuff. It's tired, and it would have worked better without any overt parallels, aside from the song at the end that turns her around.

Couldn't they just have put her in a green tracksuit? Would have gotten the message across without the need for her to go all Jim Carey on us. The ep as a whole didn't annoy me as much as last week's ep, but ho hum is about right. And can we get Blaine shirtless now? Or less clothed than that. Whatever. Not picky. Just bored, and the only thing that will make this show better for me at this point is a shirtless Blaine singing "You Are My Sunshine." Or "Dirrty" (in chaps). Either or. See how not picky I am.

It wasn't a great episode like I hoped but it was nice. Brittany is so adorable and Beastie rules! I loved Kurt and Blaine's duet and was happy actually kind of happy they took a break from Kurt's arc slightly in this episode.
