I would LOVE to see Tales of the Demons! It would be cool so see Anya in her afterlife, since we've had hardly a mention of her since 'Chosen'.

I would also like to see some canon stories of Willow/Tara/Dawn while Buffy was dead.
Tales of the Witches, perhaps?

Tales of Magic would work better than tales of the witches I think, since it could also include warlocks like Rack and other magical stuff like minders and the PTB.

I agree that Tales of the Demons would be cool, I'd love to see stories about Anyanka, Clem and the Senior Partners.

hmmmmm. Very nice ideas! i especially love your idea arcaneweirdo. We could see some more storys including Willow, Tara, Amy, and maybe new characters. i wouldn't mind seeing an Amy story pre-S8....like what she did after Chosen. *ponders*

I wish this was coming out as a TPB as well. Hardcover is nice, but I already have 7 paperback Buffy Season 8 books and the Angel comics I have are TPBs as well. It won't match the rest of my collection. :(

OMG, I hope that's real. It says "tales" on it, and it looks like Jo Chen's art. Not her best Spike or Angel likeness, but awesome, nontheless.

Do they often do wallpapers with art not seen anywhere else? Because I haven't seen this before.

Doubt it's the cover, since the image is dated "2006" (see lower left corner).

ETA: The art does look very much like Jo Chen's style. Perhaps an old piece commissioned for something? I would like the link to the image too, since I'm having trouble finding it myself. The image address doesn't exactly match the Dark Horse site, and trying to backtrack from there just doesn't work.

Oh well. If it weren't for the date, I'd have guessed that it was possibly Jo Chen's (assuming that it's her work, of course) cover for the "Last Gleaming" TPB that got accidentally released. And hey, maybe it is...

Yeah, was looking out for that. However, most of the wallpapers are cropped images, so it was perhaps cropped out.
Again, assuming that it's her work. The fact that this was apparently made in 2006 would suggest that it's not part of S8... doesn't really make sense for her to have turned in the cover for something 4 years in advance.

Maybe a part of her "audition" for the job, to make that piece? As a "look hoe well I did the characters, hire me" thing artists do.
