So the first thing that struck me when I saw this... Buffy's pose is kinda similar to the one on the Magician tarot card... with the upraised arm and stake. This is probably the most colorful TBP cover thus far... Must be the Tokyo theme, although it does kinda look like Times Square.

Love this cover. Amazing Dracula likeness. Is this Jo Chen or Jon Foster? Either way it's fantastic. The HMV sign makes me laugh.

i can see why we both jumped to make a banner of this its really nice definitely in my top 5 the likeness is great i love how Buffy & drac are standing also the Tokyo signs in the background are very affective

It's definitly the most dramatic tpb cover of season 8.

I like it a lot more than No future for you tpb cover. The Long Way home-cover is the best tough.

maybe it's just me but what is the deal with Buffy's hand? It kinda looks like she should be saying "SHAZZAM!" or "OLE!"

the mauve is so matte compared to the psychedelic-ness of the art, plus the color doesn't jive with the bright lights of Tokyo. Eh, not the best color choice.

But the art is fantastic!

And Buffy's hand is very X-men pose-ish.

Continuing the silly train of thought, Dracula's hand gesture reminds me of Xander in 'Hush' when he's trying to act out "boobies".
