Hey Gang!

After sending a letter to him, alerting him of our new forum and it's focus on Season 8...

I am pleased to announce that Georges Jeanty, the artist working on Season 8 has been gracious enough to give us this:

Hey Philip.

That's great that you're doing this! Anything I can do, short of giving you Joss's number to help, I'll do! I'm not so good with the whole posting stuff but I would certainly try. I try and maintain my site with as much up to the minute stuff as I can, and to that end if you ever hear of something or have a link please forward it.

As far as giving you tidbits about Season 8... I have none. I'm on the 4th issue which would translate roughly to the 4th episode of a 24 episode season, and all I do know I'm sworn to secrecy. I can tell you that a lot is revealed in the little blurbs from Dark Horse. I can also tell you that the same formula that applied to the show ( I just finished watching every episode a few days ago!) the way Joss would have stuff happen to each character and also have this thread of the big threat for the season popping up and being delt with at the end, still holds up.

I can say you'll see what Faith's been up to. I think you'll be happy with where Willow is in her life... oh, and poor Dawny...

Is that enough tid for your bit?

This is a great feature to the new forum! What an exclusive! Thanks so much Phil.

Maybe since Georges can't leak out too many spoilers, do you think you can ask how the process of putting a issue comes about, how is the process of him drawing an issue comes about, what types of equipment he uses?

I know there are many members are aspiring young artists and this would be great insight and maybe some tidbits on breaking into the industry.
