Wow great covers! I was already sold on it being a Wash one-shot, but a cameo and "hints" just makes this even more exciting.

I can't wait. I just wish it was more than one issue, as I'm sure we're in for a treat.

I'm not the biggest Serenity fan in the world, but the "fan reeling"-cameo has got me intrigued.

New Buffyfest interview with Scott Allie HERE. Interesting... and how can we ignore this: Well, seeing as SDCC is usually where a lot of big news breaks, I'm hoping we'll hear more about this then.

If the "horrible" in "horrible tease" means anything I'd guess it has something to do with Dr. Horrible. I'd much prefer some more Firefly though, or Dollhouse.

I love both covers. Each has its own merits. Glad to finally see another Firefly comic.

Bunch of stuff on this HERE. I don't have time to really read it yet, but it's a very general interview, and they touch on a lot of Whedonverse stuff, including this one-shot, and "A Shepherd's Tale". Enjoy. But spoilers aplenty! I think.

I'm looking forward to this. I got the TPBs of the other Firefly stories, but I might be willing to grab this one shot. Covers are great and the preview has made me very curious.
P.S. Thanks for the link wenxina. Great article. Haven't read it all yet but what I have read has got me really excited for all the things to come.

Just read this, and... I found myself bored. Sad to say. I didn't enjoy reading paragraph, after paragraph, about Wash flying ships. The art was great though! And Wash had a few funny lines that made me giggle.(Him using his dinosaur as a therapist. Epic.) Even if most of this issue's story is a bit boring, the ending made up for it... Completely. Zoe! She was the amazing guest appearance, I take it? At first I was like, "Well, why is Zoe there?" And then the next page I'm going, "O.M.F.G!" -Spaz- "OMG!" -Dies- It was what we were all hoping: Zoe has a baby belly. And it's a girl, apparently, in there! Overall, I'd give it a 7/10. Good art, some good lines, and a great ending. A nice send-off to Wash. He will live on in his daughter. </3 BUT a bit slow, for me.
