:) I'm so behind with the comic but I got two(Part 1 and Part 2) last night. I liked part 1, loved part 2 but I gotta go to the other thread to talk about that one. Giant Dawn was funny. I wasn't sure I liked it at first but after all the wisecracks about her size, I thought it was hilarious. I also loved the idea of the buffy look-a-likes setup to protect the real buffy. I really missed buffy and it's so great to see more!

I heard a cool theory that I'd like to expound upon: Mr. Floaty Boots is the Immortal.

I think that hairswinging!Buffy told the Immortal that she was the real Buffy, but he being the sly dog Spike & Angel make him out to be, quickly learns that she isn't. And now he's following around the real Buffy.

Yeah, that was my 2nd choice, but it looks a lot more like the one from the same species in issue 3.

Sorry to drag this topic up from the depths but I have a question. What did Buffy mean when they broke into the abandoned church and she said "Their first victims, gotta get 'em past it"?

OMG always wondered this!!! I just thought that she meant that it was Satsu, Rowenna and Leah's first time at seeing dead bodies, and that she needed them to get passed it in order to slay the demons but who knows of a better opinion?

I think thats it too. It was Buffy all about being the leader, teaching the girls to fight as a team as Slayers and not as emphatic beings reacting to the shock and horror at the dead bodies.

Something I'm confused about with the Decoy Buffy and The Immortal situation. Buffy narrates to us:

"The guys figured I was a target. Set up two other Slayers to be me. ... One's in Rome, partying very publicly – and supposedly dating some guy called 'The Immortal.' That part was Andrew's idea. He did research on the guy, said it would be hilarious for some reason"

Now was Decoy Buffy actually dating The Immortal? If so, how was this set up by Andrew anyway and what does she mean by "Andrew's idea"?

I think that Decoy Buffy wasn't actually dating The Immortal. They just made it sound like she was. And it was Andrew's idea to make the world think she was dating the Immortal.

I don't know why it's funny because I never read the book The Immortal, so I have no idea what he's all about. I assume he's some other vamp?

Oh right. I'm trying to piece it all together in my head but it's just not making sense. :P

I don't think he's a vampire. Probably some sort of human-part demon.

The Immortal is, like the other Buffy books, non-canon, and in fact the character in the book is a female (if I can remember all these years later). And it did not take place in Rome.

The book THE IMMORTAL was the first Adult BUFFY book, and in no way connected to the Immortal from "The Girl In Question"

1st issue was released in March 2007 now here we are a year later on issue 12. It doesn't seem that long. I saw the first issue by accidedent I wnet into Forbidden Planet just to browse around and noticed some guy pick the comi up and I like the front cover so then I picked one up and I bought it and loved it, now one year later Buffy is sleepinf with women, Ethan Rayne is dead, Dawns still a giant and Twilight has kicked Buffys ass.
