why does buffy dress like this now i loved how she dressed on the show she looked soo classy and now she looks like she 's back in high school.

Me too! I was hoping she would be doing all the covers for Season 8. I do like this cover, I'm just dissapointed it's not by Jo.

I think it looks good but i wounder if Jo would ahve done a better job at it.

could be wrong but i think its the main cover (Jo Chen covers) and the (Georges Jeanty covers) are the variant covers. But i could be wrong :P

Cool cover! New Big Bad! :D I'm a little confused by the covers background though. And whats an "old fashioned death match"? And Jo Chen's gone! :'( Looks pretty good though. :)

Is that Dawn on the main cover? Doesn't that sort of give it away if something is towering over Dawn? Does that mean her little predicament will be resolved in one of the next two issues??

I'm not sure that its Dawn or not...

This cover matches the styloe of Stake To The Heart. Same artist?

I love it! Its gorgeous and its not like anything thats been done yet for a main cover.

Buffysmglover, I loved the art in Stake To The Heart it was some of the best comic art in the Buffyverse. It does remind me of that.

I think an old fashioned death match means Buffy won't be fighting with ray guns

I loved it too! I was so glad to see that Stake to the Heart was in the Buffy Omnibus Voluem 2 because I was at Borders and it was the only onmibus they had so I got it. Its a very good story.

Wow... New Badguy Man is pretty funky looking. He looks really cool, but his face reminds me of the Ambush Bug, and that's just silly.

It looks like Buffy to me. I love the cover. It's unique and it does remind me of the "Stake to the Heart" covers also. I wouldn't have known it wasn't Jo Chen if someone hadn't said that. The summary sounds great. Can't wait to see the "old fashioned death match". Is the title taken from the first issue of "The Long Way Home" when Buffy says the Twilight symbol looks like a beautiful sunset?

I'm scared that this issue is going to be like the season 5 episode of Angel, The cautionary tale of numero cinco, with that wrestler looking guy. A graveyard i see, good old traditional buffy, and love that the sun is seeping through big bads arms. Wouldn't have noticed this wasn't Jo Chen's work but after a second look, there is a difference, I hope she returns.

I still thought it was Jo's art when I saw the cover, but I thought she changed the style a bit.
