This might have been asked before. But will the end of After the Fall leave an opening to have new stories after it? Or will it be a "happy" ending, where there will be no more stories to tell?

Oh I think the story can continue for some of the characters, absolutely. Of course, every character has a different ending, but at the same time, plenty of them could go onto new adventures.

As the short series comes to a close, what has been the absolute best part about being able to write into the Angel canon?

Two things always, without fail, make all this hard work worth it...(1) getting new pages from the artist, whenever that happens, it's like Christmas morning, and (2) reading or hearing people's reactions to the comics on the days after it's release. I know that's not canon-specific, but there you go.
Getting an email from Joss being excited about my ideas is up there too. But definitely the art and the fan reaction.
Oh, and getting to talk to Ryall so much. He's always fun.

Do you think Illyria loves Wesley or is it Fred's influence? If you believe its Illyria separate from Fred, what do see as inspiring this love for Wes?

Okay, well I'll try another one Has writing Angel: After the Fall and collaborating with Joss changed any of your opinions about the series or any of the characters?

Definitely. Great appreciation for Connor now. In the TV show he's finding his way, and in the comic, he's found it. Big-time. Also, watching the episodes knowing what happens to Gunn is really depressing.

Okay only ten questions? I feel as though I am on a time crunch.
I've been rereading The Dark tower series and I've been thinking about how fans reacted to the *SPOILERS*reveal and death of the Crimson King at the end of the series. *SPOILERS*This got me thinking about Wolfram and Hart. We're you given the knowledge of what Wolfram and Hart truly is or was that something that was kind of left up to your own interpretation?

Will the Powers that Be play an important role to getting L.A. out of Hell?

Yes! Connor is another character that's been resurrected into awesomeness by the comic. Just like Dracula in the Wolves at the Gate arc.

If there a piece of writing in After the Fall that you're most proud of? Thanks for doing this again Brian! Can't wait for tomorrow!

This got me thinking about Wolfram and Hart. We're you given the knowledge of what Wolfram and Hart truly is or was that something that was kind of left up to your own interpretation? A little bit of both. I think revealing "behind the curtain" too much takes away from the mystery that is Wolfram & Hart. Going into specifics of their origin, like spelling it out, or spending time with the absolute heads of the organization would suck some of the fun right out, and probably disappoint a lot of people. That said, Wolfram & Hart is actually a young slave boy pod racer. And it created C3PO.

Will the Powers that Be play an important role to getting L.A. out of Hell? They will try, but as Wesley discovered in issue 9, their power is kinda cut off where Angel and company are.

Do you have a favorite cover for the series? That said, Wolfram & Hart is actually a young slave boy pod racer. And it created C3PO. *deadpan* You're a funny guy.

Will we learn more about the mysterious sorceress that helped out Lorne/L.A. citizens in his First Night story?

If there a piece of writing in After the Fall that you're most proud of? Thanks for doing this again Brian! Can't wait for tomorrow! I can't wait for tomorrow either! Favorite piece of writing? There's a moment in issue 11 that was surprising and heartbreaking. Something Gunn says. I also really like Connor and Kate's story in FIRST NIGHT, all of SPIKE:ATF, and Angel's speech to the humans in issue 5. Oh, and Spike and Wesley have a scene in 10 that I dig. I like pieces of writing in each issue. Not at a point yet where I can sit back and enjoy the series yet. When it's all collected I'll get back to you. That said, I think ___________'S ARMY will be the best Angel-related book I wrote, if we ever get to it. What? Did I...? Oh dear.
