Here´s a link : www.thedeadbolt.com/news/107552/howard_gordon_24_finale_interview.phpThe context: At first they talk about the movie and the possibility of certain unrealistic aspects and it continues that Howard Gordon states that saying in connection to a contract between the producers and the audience. I don´t get the saying. Thanks for answering *karma*

It's actually kind of weird, so not a surprise that you were having trouble with it. To be honest, I am not sure that I exactly get what he is saying. I think he is saying that they have always promised their audience that the show would never be boring as opposed to it being "good". Honestly, that may not be exactly what he meant though.

Thank you.
I guessed with "good" probably means that Jack would never become a good hero but stays the anti-hero? I dunno.

I think he meant that if the show ever wasn't "good" then it at least would never be boring as well.

Ah, okay. Makes sense.
I was just confused because he said they have had the saying from early on. So they were a little bit foreseeing (Amnesia, Cougar) :-)

Yeah it was hard to understand exactly what he was saying at first.
