Finally getting around to responding to this...
1.) Do you consider yourself a 'hardcore' fan? If so, what in your opinion constitutes a 'hardcore' fan? Not really. I mean, I love Buffy and everything, but I haven't even seen more than lithe shows fairly often, and buys the comics or some kind of memorabilia, and is involved in all of the Buffyverse...
2. What is your involvement in the fandom? a.) For instance, do you prefer to mostly narrow it down to watching the shows at home and chatting on forums like this with other fans? b.) Or, do you make fan art, write fan fiction, or run a Buffy/Angel-themed site or blog? c.) In terms of forums, do you stick to one or do you belong to many? If so, which ones? How often do you post?
I drew a picture of Spike and Drusilla once upon a time, it didn't come out all that well though. Mostly I just watch the show and go on Slayalive. I used to frequent a different forum, but it ouy, so eventually I came here.
3. Do you collect/read Buffy/Angel stuff in RL? If so, what? I have a few of the comics... Some of the omnibuses too. And I have a 6' tall Spike cutout that hangs out in my room.
4. How long have you considered yourself a fan? Um.. I think I got into Buffy two years ago, around Christmas. I'm not one hundred percent sure what year it was though.
5. About how much time per week would you say you engage in some aspect of the fandom? (Please include writing fan fic, discussing things on forums, and making fan art) BE Honest! Well, whenever I'm on the internet, I usually have Slayalive open in a tab, but I'm a multitasker, so I usually have like six tabs open. I have no idea how much actual time that adds up to. Maybe 10 hours a week?
6. Do you know many people in RL who share your passion for the show? If so, where and how did you meet these people? I know a fair amount. I found out that like, 6 of my distant friends are Buffy and Angel friends just by chance. Something mentioned at lunch, or relating a random occurrence to Buffy.
7.) Do you belong to any RL groups that are Whedonverse-themed? (like the meet-up group I run here in Seattle) Do you engage in the fandom with people in RL, or is your involvement strictly online? Have you met friends as a result of your mutual love for the show(s)? All online. Every now and again my friends and I will have a Buffy discussion, but not that often.. I have certainly liked people more because I find out they like Buffy though.

1.) Do you consider yourself a 'hardcore' fan? If so, what in your opinion constitutes a 'hardcore' fan?
Not sure about whether I am a "hardcore" fan or not - every time I think I am I meet someone who amazes me with their Buffy/Angel knowledge!!
2. What is your involvement in the fandom? a.) For instance, do you prefer to mostly narrow it down to watching the shows at home and chatting on forums like this with other fans? Both - I like to watch the show, read the comics, and chat with other fans. I would expand this to attending conventions which have Buffy/Angel/Whedonverse celebrities in attendance as well as meet with other Buffy fans and discuss the shows, characters and comics. b.) Or, do you make fan art, write fan fiction, or run a Buffy/Angel-themed site or blog?
I write a little fan fiction and love to read some too! c.) In terms of forums, do you stick to one or do you belong to many? If so, which ones? How often do you post?
I was very active in one Forum posting daily or so but have not been posting on forums as of late. RL and my favorite TV programs have been demanding more of my time.
3. Do you collect/read Buffy/Angel stuff in RL? If so, what? Yes - all three. I read the comics - each issue and buy the TPB as well. I've tried reading some of the "Buffy novels" but they don't hold the same interest for me. I have a Spike puppet doll, some Geanty prints, a couple of trading card sets, have the original BtVS movie, a Spike DVD, the DVDs of both Series - all seasons, and I have a small collection of autographs from some of the Buffy/Angel cast - James Marsters, Nicholas Brandon, Charisma Carpenter, Julie Benz, Juliet Landau, Felicia Day, Nathan Fillian and Kristi Swanson. I'm hoping to add Luke Perry (Pike) this year!!
4. How long have you considered yourself a fan? From when the series started.
5. About how much time per week would you say you engage in some aspect of the fandom? (Please include writing fan fic, discussing things on forums, and making fan art) BE Honest! Once a week or less.
6. Do you know many people in RL who share your passion for the show? If so, where and how did you meet these people?
Four others - 3 I met at my comic book shop when I began reading the comics series and one I met on line.
and lastly 7.) Do you belong to any RL groups that are Whedonverse-themed? (like the meet-up group I run here in Seattle) Do you engage in the fandom with people in RL, or is your involvement strictly on line? Have you met friends as a result of your mutual love for the show(s)?
No - I tried to get a group started through a "Meetup" but there were not that many people nearby interested - they were spread out too far in location. I was asked once to attend a Southeastern Browncoat meeting in Atlanta but that was too far.
And I have met one person from an online Forum group. It was great fun and we still correspond - mainly over our insane obsession with JAMES MARSTERS!!! Hoping to see her at Dragon*Con!!!!

1.) Do you consider yourself a 'hardcore' fan? If so, what in your opinion constitutes a 'hardcore' fan? Yeah, I think I'm a hardcore Buffy fan. I think the difference is between hardcore fans and regular fans is that the hardcore fans have such passion for the Buffyverse that it extends to many different parts of their lives. Casual fans love Buffy; hardcore fans need Buffy.
2. What is your involvement in the fandom? Although I consider myself a really big fan, I'm only casually involved in the fandom. I don't do fan fics or fan art because I'm not good at that stuff. SlayAlive is the only Buffy related forum I belong to and post at, but I lurk on WhedonEsque.
3. Do you collect/read Buffy/Angel stuff in RL? If so, what? I haven't ventured much outside of canon, but otherwise yes. I have the Buffy the Vampire Slayer Chosen Collection (season 1-7) and the Angel Complete Series Collection (seasons 1-5). I'm also trying to keep up to date on Season Eight, which I love. The IDW Angel series, however, has taken a back seat to Season Eight. I also have Tales of the Vampires, Tales of the Slayers, the Fray trade paperbacks. Noncanon stuff I have is the Buffy the Vampire Slayer 1992 film on DVD and the first Buffy Omnibus.
My collection isn't as big as some other fan's, but I'm constantly on the lookout to expand it.
4. How long have you considered yourself a fan? It's been about five years, I think, so since 2004/2005-ish.
5. About how much time per week would you say you engage in some aspect of the fandom? (Please include writing fan fic, discussing things on forums, and making fan art) BE Honest! I check SlayAlive everyday, but the amount of time I spend depends on what's going on and which discussions have continued while I was gone. I don't write fan fics or make any form of fan art, but I do try and appreciate other fans' work as much as possible.
6. Do you know many people in RL who share your passion for the show? If so, where and how did you meet these people? I've met quite a few people who like the show, but I think only one who even came close to matching my level of passion for the franchise in general.
7.) Do you belong to any RL groups that are Whedonverse-themed? (like the meet-up group I run here in Seattle) Do you engage in the fandom with people in RL, or is your involvement strictly online? Have you met friends as a result of your mutual love for the show(s)? Strictly online, with the exception of discussions with casual fans I happen to run into.

1.) Do you consider yourself a 'hardcore' fan? If so, what in your opinion constitutes a 'hardcore' fan? Yes. Hardcore fans are capable of applying the object of a fandom's affection to the real world, blending the two together as opposed to forcing them to be separate.
A and B together. I stay with one forum per fandom - easier to manage. I've chosen to stick with SlayAlive for Buffy/Angel. I post at least a few times a day.
3. Do you collect/read Buffy/Angel stuff in RL? If so, what? Beyond DVDs and canonical comic books? Nope. It's bound to happen soon, though.
4. How long have you considered yourself a fan? Barely two years. It was winter 2007 when I watched Buffy for the first time.
5. About how much time per week would you say you engage in some aspect of the fandom? (Please include writing fan fic, discussing things on forums, and making fan art) BE Honest! Couple of posts here, couple of posts there... I'm inconsistent when it comes to fanfiction, but I try to put something out every so often. Total hours... maybe 5?
6. Do you know many people in RL who share your passion for the show? If so, where and how did you meet these people? Unfortunately no. Living in a sparsely-populated Deep South college town does not afford many options. Some people appreciate my passion; most just think I'm crazy.
7.) Do you belong to any RL groups that are Whedonverse-themed? (like the meet-up group I run here in Seattle) Do you engage in the fandom with people in RL, or is your involvement strictly online? Have you met friends as a result of your mutual love for the show(s)? Nope, my involvement is strictly online, for the reasons stated in #6. I am, for all intents and purposes, the only rabid fanboy on campus.

1. Do you consider yourself a 'hardcore' fan? If so, what in your opinion constitutes a 'hardcore' fan?In my opinion, you have to be "obsessed" in order to be "hardcore". I have an obsessive personality. So by my definition, I am hardcore. 2. What is your involvement in the fandom?Umm... I joined SlayAlive, I'm going to DragonCon to meet fellow fans, I spend all of my money on Buffy DVDs, graphic novels, comics, books, music, etc. I made a myspace Buffy account and RPG. I watch Buffy related videos all the time and have read a few Buffy related fanfiction. Plus I collect Buffy icons, motivationals, wallpapers, and banners. And I make some stuff too. 3. Do you collect/read Buffy/Angel stuff in RL? If so, what?See above. 4. How long have you considered yourself a fan?Not very long. I just recently got into Buffy, but I was instantly addicted. I watched all 7 seasons in two and a half weeks. I obviously got no sleep. 5. About how much time per week would you say you engage in some aspect of the fandom? (Please include writing fan fic, discussing things on forums, and making fan art) BE Honest!Per week? Umm... I don't know. I have pretty much 0 life, so majority of my week other than school and sleep. 6. Do you know many people in RL who share your passion for the show? If so, where and how did you meet these people? The teacher who made me watch it. Then--as is my job as someone with an obsessive personality--I got others to get into it too. 7. Do you belong to any RL groups that are Whedonverse-themed? (like the meet-up group I run here in Seattle) Do you engage in the fandom with people in RL, or is your involvement strictly online? Have you met friends as a result of your mutual love for the show(s)?I dunno. Probably if they'll be at DragonCon 2010 But like I said, I very recently got into Buffy so I haven't had time to do any of that yet.
