Searched for this and was surprised not to see it, so I decided to start it. The title is pretty self explanatory. Try to include at least one non-Whedon-related actor and one actress. You you do a top ten of each, top five of each, or just name a few people you like.
I'll make sure to post my list once I've gotten a few minutes to think about it...

My favorite actors and actresses because of their ability and range. They are great character actors:
Russell Crowe Agnes Moorehead(from her work BEFORE Bewitched)
and I think Grace Kelly and Rita Hayworth are the most beautiful women I've ever seen.

My favourite actor hands-down is Gene Hackman - his range is spectacular, illustrated for me by these three parts: Harry Caul in "The Conversation" Popeye Doyle in "The French Connection" and "The French Connection II" Little Bill in "Unforgiven"
All really different roles and all masterful displays of acting.
Not too sure about actresses, but I definitely have a soft spot for Minnie Driver - she's always a light in the darkness for any film. Plus I think she's hot.

Not too sure about actresses, but I definitely have a soft spot for Minnie Driver - she's always a light in the darkness for any film. Plus I think she's hot. She just guest starred on Modern Family. She looks great! My favorite actors are:- Christopher Walken- whether he's creeping me out, or making me laugh, I love the man. Especially loved him in Batman Returns, and America's Sweethearts -Gary Oldman! I hear Juliet Landau is doing a Gary Oldman documentary called "Take Flight." I'm very excited about that. I just love Gary Oldman. He's like a chameleon. - Jason Bateman- I have a not so secret crush on Jason Bateman... I really liked him in Arrested Development. -James Franco <3 - The Whedon alums obviously... James Marsters tops my list there, and Nathan Fillion. My favorite actresses are- Kate Beckinsale- Serendipity is one of my favorite movies. - Sandra Bullock: She's been keeping it real since Love Potion #9 - Liv Tyler- I respect the woman. - Alicia Silverstone- even though I can't really think of what she's done since Clueless, I still love her. Even in Batman & Robin..lol. - From the Whedonverse-- SMG, Alyson Hannigan, Eliza Dushku, Juliet Landau Wow, I just realized I have a lot of Batman-franchise related people on my list...

Okay, I will practically watch everything that has to do with a Whedon Alum, so I'm only going to mention the actors that really stand out for me in the Whedon department because I really don't feel like writing all of their names down.
Actresses: Alyson Hannigan Amber Benson Eliza Dushku Amy Acker (I'm so excited for her to be in Happy Town!!) Kristin Bell Sara Ramirez Sandra Oh Amy Adams Tina Fey
Actors Neil Patrick Harris (Not only a wonderful Actor/Singer, he's also a very nice man!) Alexis Denisof Alan Cummings Christian Campbell
More actresses than actors, I know. It's just that I haven't seen any actors that have been as memorable. But, like, I've seen Sandra Oh in several different roles, and I find that she is an excellent actress and I'd watch her work any day.

I have this rule that kind of keeps me from choosing favorites. XD I need to have seen actors and actresses in at least three things before I consider them a favorite, so that makes it difficult to pick anyone out.
But Natalie Portman is my all-time favorite actress. She's just so versatile, it's unbelievable. I also love Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, I think they're both absolutely hysterical. Amy Adams is great, too. I'd like to see Summer Glau in more stuff: I loved her as River and as Bennett, and squealed during her appearance in Angel.
There aren't many actors that really stand out to me, but I do like Kevin Kline, Michael Cera, and Jason Bateman. I also really, REALLY hope to see Enver Gjokaj in something soon because he just impressed me SO much on Dollhouse.
