Okay, new question!
There is a lot of pre-judging going on with the release of issue 33 that Angel is now irredeemably evil, Buffy is now too (or one or both are mind-controlled by the glow and "unholy power"), etc, etc. While I'm sure your answer would be that we get more info in the upcoming issues (which I'm cool with cause I'm in wait and see mode), my question is more about speculation that some people in the fandom seem particularly fond of.
A lot of people, having predetermined what this all means, are hopeful that "fill in the blank favorite character" will save/rescue/wake up Buffy (and possibly Angel, though some are more than eager for him to just be full out evil of his own choice), and remove her from the evil influences of Angel and the glowing powers. And you did once say that fans of Buffy's should be worried.
So my question is, should we be expecting someone to sweep in and "save" Buffy and/or Angel from themselves (or possibly a third party controlling things) or should we even assume (there's that word again) that they NEED saving at all since I'm not yet convinced that they are corrupted by evil?

Hey Scott. Third time this round. I could easily wait and see, but I was wondering if you could comment on Future Dark Willow's line in the "Time of Your Life" arc. She says It's just one of her many cryptic remarks in that arc, and I was wondering if this one will perhaps become clearer in light of the next issue, with the whole "secret history of vampires and Slayers" deal?

Scott, you mentioned that the prince who needs saved might be a lost theme due to time constraints, can you comment on the story element in which Willow tells Buffy that she had to be the one who killed her, in the future? Will that play a part in the remaining story.

Hi again!
So Giles knows is going on something that Buffy cannot fight against, Angel was pushing Buffy to it and killed Ethan, a former watcher, the only person who tried to warn her about (Twilight is coming) and advised her that she needs all the help she can get. Will Ethan warning and killing be addressed?

Hey Scott, have you known what Spike's role on Buffy would be since the beginning or has Joss only recently explained his future role? About the "Spray" thing last month, i was only kidding but i did notice that some people took it the wrong way. Some thought you were being rude and others thought my reply was condescending. Just wanted to make it clear that i didn't mean anything by it and took no offense to your reply. It's like how you once said, the internet ain't the best way to communicate, things can be taken in a wrong way. But thanks anyway for the apology.

Hi Scott,
I'm wondering if you could comment on how we are supposed to read Angel's expression on the reveal. I'm not a comic book reader and I'm not sure how much information drawings of expression are supposed to convey. I've picked up that there's a particular look for "warm moment of truth". And one for "hacked off slayer". But I'm not sure what this one is. I know lots is left for reader interpretation -- but that leaves those of us who don't know comic book art vocabulary a bit disadvantaged on how to do good interpretation, so any comments you have on it would be appreciated!

Angel says, "She's about to face something she truly can't fight". Giles says, "Regardless of what Buffy does, there is no winning."
Am I correct in assuming that the way these two statements are phrased is important as to what is actually going on?

Hey, Scott, in another forum, ThePoet's<3 mentioned a quote said by Spike in S7 Same Time Same Place, "Look at you... glowing. What's a word means "glowing"? Gotta rhyme. " He's talking to Buffy here, and he was in his insane state. Does that connect with the glowing in S8? Does it mean that Angel had gone insane here? Kinda like the people out of their mind being able to see Dawn in her green of energy state, insane vampires can see slayers glow.

Have you and Joss had more detailed discussion on how he is going to lay out the final arc? He seems to like to utilize a unique creative storytelling device or inhabit a specific voice every once and while. It's always fun and usually ground breaking when he does this. Can we expect anything like this in the count down?

Are we meant to be questioning Angels motives, or accepting Angel is a good guy now and were just waiting for the rest of the explanation.

Thanks for answering the last question!
Will Dawn's status as the key ever be explored again? Or is her statement in "Bargaining" that she's not the key anymore meant to be seen as absolute truth?

Everyone, I'm going to have to apologize for some confusion.
I had locked the thread last night because we'd reached the cap of questions to include in this round. Sixty-one questions in less than three days. That's a lot.
The thread was unlocked by another moderator after receiving PMs from members saying they wanted to post a question but couldn't in this thread. Problem being--the thread was locked for a reason. No one however sent a message to me asking about this. Please, please understand that if you have a question about the Q&A, you need to contact me. Not all moderators are privy to how this is being run--you need to contact me if you have a query or comment.
At this point, I was torn between asking Scott to do another round or letting you all be disappointed in not being able to ask your final question. In the end, I think Scott's devoted a lot of his time to us already over the past three days and I'd like to let him enjoy his weekend.
I'm not going to make this a mandate. I'd like for everyone who has posted a question here to be okay with letting this last round go.
I'm so appreciative of the time Scott's devoted to doing this Q&A (our largest turn-out thus far), but I'd like to keep it manageable for him. As it stands, I think almost everyone who currently asked a question after I'd locked the thread last night has already posted one or more questions. I hope we can all be happy with the abundance of questions for this round.
And remember that you all have the opportunity to write in and have your letter published in Dark Horse's lettercol. Thanks everyone! And I can't express my regret at this confusion here--the last thing I want to do is disappoint anyone.

Hey all. My bad, so yeah, please save those questions for the next time around, or hey, perhaps they'll be answered by reading the next issue. I think the affected questions are actually all the ones on this page, so there should be no confusion as to which ones won't be sent off. Scott's been great about doing these Q&As, so I agree with Emmie. Again, my apologies for whatever confusion this may have caused. And thanks Emmie, for managing a stellar round.
ETA: Just read Scott's closing statement, so I guess there won't be a next time. But we've had a great run with him, and I'm personally thankful for all the time he's given us.
