beeemkcl - interesting review.
First of all, I read her lines as bitterly ironic.
Second, physical power is relative in Jossverse. A fight is usually won by the fighter with stronger motivation.
That said, you may be right. There is something ominous in that scene.

Willow: So snake lady easily convinces Willow that destroying the seed is a bad thing because it would end all magic on Earth including all demons that aren’t vampires and Slayers. This will save the world and be the best thing to do: rid of the threat of Twilight and the world ever possibly ending. But Willow wouldn’t be able to be a powerful witch anymore and Willow simply cannot have that and actually goes to Buffy telling her that they need to protect the seed. This is obviously setting up that Willow’s possibly the one to betray Buffy. So Willow is on The Protector's team? I love her! I hope they win! I like seeing her struggle with her addiction to magick and all. Plus, without it she'll be a regular human and that's just not as grand given all the things we've seen her do. More importantly, it means we can't use the pretty pictures. So yeah, I'm Team Willow! (The Fray future can still come about in some other way, right? Like, maybe because of something they do in Season 9? I don't want that to be fully retconned.) At first I lol'd but then I serious'd. But then I lol'd again. Hmm, interesting. Magicks? SPF100+? (Although, technically, that counts as magick too.) Or maybe the vamping out part was magick? My brain is very confused.

Well, Spike is smokin' (as in kinda combustible) during the flight. I'm assuming that given Buffy's superspeed, they got under cover fast enough that he didn't immediately ignite.

Just finished it and I loved it. Much better than #36. I loved the Spike scenes and I'm glad that Spuffy still has a chance.
I'm definitely on board with everyone thinking Willow will be the betrayer. Willow obviously doesn't want to loose her magic and in ToYL we see that she doesn't. Saga Vasuki told Willow about removing and destroying the Seed of Wonder, but could there be other uses for it? Perhaps Willow uses it to take all the magic herself or at least shield herself from the removal of all other magic.
I loved the scene with Xander and Dawn with the general peeping on them. I guess Giles isn't the only "watcher" aboard Spike's ship.

Well, Spike is smokin' (as in kinda combustible) during the flight. I'm assuming that given Buffy's superspeed, they got under cover fast enough that he didn't immediately ignite. Oh yeah, the superspeed thing. Buffy should use that more! But I guess she won't have them for much longer and the writers don't want us to getting used to the idea of Super!Buffy. I'm actually hoping for a little more Spuffy so that Spike becoming the betrayer becomes more plausible. Even if it doesn't happen it's good having it as a possibility. Willow and Xander have been the closest to her this season but they're not really showing us that ATM. So now I'm thinking maybe they'll all betray Buffy in some way and I don't want Spike to be left out. (BTW, how lame would it be if "closest" means "nearest"?) I loved the scene with Xander and Dawn with the general peeping on them. I guess Giles isn't the only "watcher" aboard Spike's ship. LOL. Anything Willow can do, The General can do better. ('Cause he's a man.) Eric's banner: Hey, that's cheating! I'm going to tell Eric on you.

I'm thinking that Willow will be removed from "our world" and be the protector of the Seed in the Twilight dimension, and maybe find a way to come back in the future.

Or become the Seed herself.

Sales numbers are in. Buffy #37 came in at #32 on the chart, but dropped over 1,800 copies from last month. Season 8 seems to be limping toward the finish line, unfortunately. The "Twilight" trade paperback was #5 on the list of top-selling graphic novels for the month.

^^Thanks for the figures Andrew, I like seeing how many copies have sold and how popular Buffy still is I was a bit disappointed with #37, I didn't think it was as revealing as it could have been and I am a bit confused by some of it. I am behind with my comic buying so have just ordered #38 and #39 so will hopefully be up to speed again soon.
