Topher's picture (2nd to last) and Paul+echo (last photo) doesn't work. God, I'll be surprised how this ends...I wasn't expecting this. <3

Thanks for the heads-up. I fixed them, and checked them all. All the pics should work now.

Whedonesque reports that this episode will be delayed because of a Haiti telethon going on on the 22nd. Might wait for an official source to pop up on the thread, but this could definitely be a possibility.

Seems like it's confirmed now. I can wait another week if it's for this, very good cause.

It looks they all return to the Dollhouse in the promo... But no Whiskey?! O.O Wishing to see Amy Acker in this episode, even if the odds are against me greatly.

Hm, I just watched the promo for the first time (as soon as the screen went black I went to CBS for Numb3rs). It's airing at 8/7c. Also very curious to see what role Mr. Tudyk's character will have in the final battle.

Yeah, it has. Ugh, I was so excited to see that Summer and Miracle would be in this episode. Damn liars. What about Amy? Joss said he had her for 3 episodes, and she's been in three...

I just hope the series is tied up in some way or at leats has some sort of an ending. Last weeks episode was a let down tbh. From the previous weeks eps I was expecting it to be a bit better. Hopefully they were saving the left over good stuff for this episode. Anyone else feel this way?

I think they saved some money for this one at least. I'm not sure what I'm expecting but I was a little unsatisfied with ep12 too.

In a interview Amy had about a week back, she said that she only is only in one more episode. (Which was "The Hollow Men"). That's stinks because I wanted to see more of Saunders.

This episode is also the one where Eliza broke her arm one night while shooting a scene, went to the hospital and came back a few hours later to continue filming. Because she's awesome 'n' stuff.

I feel like I need to know how the hell she goes from Hollow Men to Epitaph One.

I feel like I need to know how the hell she goes from Hollow Men to Epitaph One. Yea, I completely agree with you. I can piece together facts though. Topher mentioned getting Whiskey outta Rossum before it exploded. They probably took her with them and imprinted her as Claire so they had a doctor. They probably removed her scars too. Claire could've have stayed behind when the rest went to Safe Haven because she was under the delusion that Boyd was gonna come back for her. (The last scene between Boyd and Claire was when he was saying goodbye). She got wiped somewhere and continued waiting. Come to think of it, there's a better possibility of them explaining that in this episode than them explaining any of the unanswered questions from last Friday's episode.

You know, I didn't even notice Topher saying that. Still a bit wierd the way she disappeared. Why not have a wiped Whiskey standing with the crew at the end... I guess maybe Amy wasn't available.

Okay, I'm really looking forward to this episode after the rush of Hollow Man. But I'll echo what others are wondering? Why is Joss Whedon not writing as much? Or is it that thing where he lets others take credit but is still tweaking bits?
I'd like to think it's because he's busy with Season 8 and is also directing this episode. C'mon Joss, we want to see your touch on the piece!

Methinks that Dollhouse is a project where he's sticking to being the creator, as well as executive producer, and leaving the rest of the fun to a group of next-gen-ish talents. Like Jed and Mo. And he better get cracking on those S8 scripts... we're all expecting big things from him.

Yeah, that's the impression. Except I feel like that's a very huge missed opportunity. One of Joss' gifts is his vision of the story in the longterm and how he's able to bring it life in the way he writes. That's where the seamlessness comes into being. When other people are trying to bring his vision to life, the disconnect happens.
You'll notice in some ways how Joss did the same thing with Season 8. In his most recent interview he talked about how he liked writing the oneshots because they connected the writers to each other, in essence setting up the story for the next writer. What he might not realize is that when he turns over the wheel completely, the writers drive off the track and his "oneshots" are necessary to bring it back to his vision again.
The last episode Hollow Man is an example where the seams were so stretched and gaping open that they groaned, announcing their presence to the viewer. And while Jed and Mo do a good to bordering on great job much of the time (better than a lot of the other writers imo), they don't have Joss' gift for language. At least, not in the sense that it truly is a gift the way Joss can create lines that resonate on multiple levels and create words and make them new again.
I think I've just figured out one of the reasons I'm not as crazy about Dollhouse there. Besides Topher, the gift of language and wordplay is the most lacking out of any of Joss' shows.
I'm still very optimistic for Epitaph Two, but the last few episodes of this season have kinda left me cold. The seams have been groaning at me for a while.

Joss wrote my 2 favourite episodes of Dollhouse (Echo & Man on the Street), but he's losing two to one in the show's run to a pair of mediocre episodes (Ghost & Vows). I'm not missing him too much. You can bet he's been all over what we've seen anyway.
