Well Meg was interested in the bad ars asian girl who was the weapon specialist. She's anything but straight i guess you could say, Did anybody else think they were trying to bring back Willow here? I mean the kind-hearted read head who likes girls....seem familiar?
Thats it no more Dollhouse. Can someone explain what happend at the end with Echo, the chair and that dark scene with her and Paul? didn't quite get that. This episode was rushed but i guess they didn;t have much time to prepare it. The begining of this episode was kind of like ok whats going on? Alpha turned good, Anthony goes between his own and Victor's persona. He also has a son with Priya, who is so anti-violence and anti-tech. Topher was traumatized beyond complete repair, yet he still recongized the love of his life Bennett in that video. Adelle has grown into a more caregiver role and Paul is gone. I still dont know whats up with Echo but she got so overhyped as this messiah type figure. It was a good show and i'd like to give a shout out to Mellie and Bennett, they really were two of the best characters on that show.

Oh, how I cried. This episode was beautiful...so much better than I expected. Well done, Joss.

Can someone explain what happend at the end with Echo, the chair and that dark scene with her and Paul? didn't quite get that. Alpha left a copy of Paul's personality for Echo and she imprinted herself with it. Since she can carry multiple imprints at the same time, Echo and Paul were able to communicate within Echo's mind.

Wow that was damn-near perfect. It lost me a bit with the cheesy shoot-out music and Ballard's death, but it paid off beautifully. Another odd twist for the man who went from a dogmatic Dollhouse hater, to a member of staff, to a product of the tech, to existing as the tech itself.
Would have liked to see Dominic and Saunders, but all in all very satisfied with the series capper.
Time for DVD plz

And Paul... gunned down the way Anya was sliced, and Derek Reese was taken out in T: SCC. I thought the same exact thing. They just had to move on without him. That was a classic Whedon-move. Although I really enjoyed how he and Caroline were brought together again in the end. The series finale was great. I was happy to see that they brought Bennett back (even though it was just in a short video). For some reason, I thought Boyd was going to pop up in the finale somewhere (mostly as a flashback). Guess I was wrong. It was nice to see Maurissa Tancharoen and Jed Whedon in this episode as well. I had no idea that Mag was a lesbian, was there any hints given in Epitaph One? By the looks of it when she got shot up, I thought they were going to have to amputate her legs. Dude, Harding is such a pervert. lol. I reckon that Whiskey did indeed die from the nerve gas. I wonder what went through Alpha thought when he saw her laying/sitting there. I loved how Topher went out. So, is it just Caroline now (except Paul) or does she still have her other personas since she was down in the Dollhouse? I hated how FOX cut off a bit of the song and the credits. Douche-bags! My only problem is that I take it Whiskey died from the gas in Epitaph One... NOOOOOOO!!!!!!! They should have brought Amy back for this episode. So, yes. My only problems was that poor Whiskey couldn't make it into the finale. I agree. I would just been happy with an unseen flashback or maybe even some talk about her from the other characters. I was surprised Mag, Zone, or "Caroline" didn't let any of the originals know.

Anyone else feel like Topher's death was somewhat like Spike's in Chosen?

Since Epitaph One I've gone on the assumption that Whiskey died in the gas in the Dollhouse. I'm not sure how there could logically be any other outcome, based on what we saw and what the situation was.
A bigger question would be how she escaped from the Rossum building that Echo had Boyd blow up.
Did anyone catch an explanation for just how Topher's Big Reboot of Humanity would work? This must prove that the original personality has always remained latent within imprinted people, right? Otherwise you wouldn't be able to restore them without the backup wedges.
I'm also not sure why the Reboot Bomb had to be set off manually. I think Topher simply decided he had to die to ensure the knowledge in his head could never be used again to cause so much suffering... and he wasn't exactly enjoying life anyway.
And, with no more Dollhouse canon apparently forthcoming, I think we have a Jossverse first: a happy ending for a relationship (with Priya and Anthony).

Even Ballard and Echo was pretty happy, despite being odd lol.

I cried so hard! Others have said what I am feeling so no need for me to fumble around with words when they said it so much better. I hope the DVD comes out soon. I hope the cast know how much we loved this show and how great a job they did.
My heart breaks for Topher. Can't say more as the tears are welling up again.

I hate that Topher and Paul died. But I'm glad that Joss allowed someone a happy ending for once - Anthony and Priya and their son. And at least Paul will now get to live on within Echo, which I guess is about as close to another person as you can get. The problem I have with the series finale is that there are just so many unanswered questions, like how was Alpha a good guy all of the sudden? I just can't help but wonder if the show had been able to go on for another season or two, is this still the way they would have ended? I kind of think that this was the result of the writers etc., having no choice but to wrap things up quickly and in a way that semi made sense. Hopefully, the blu-ray will be released soon so that I can rewatch the series from the beginning. I think Dollhouse is a show that can be much more appreciated when it's viewed as a cohesive body of work. I wonder how many people were completely confused by Epitaph two because they had not seen Epitaph one on the DVD/Blu-ray? Anyone else feel like Topher's death was somewhat like Spike's in Chosen? Ya know, I hadn't thought of it that way but that is an excellent point, sacrificing himself for the greater good. My heart breaks for Topher. Can't say more as the tears are welling up again. Same here. Topher's death was such a tragic loss, all that genius just wasted. I love Topher. He was one of my favorite characters and I really think he would have gone on to do great things with that amazing brain of his had he not died. I still don't understand why he had to die, such a senseless death, imo. And thinking of Paul's death and how he is now living on inside Echo gives me a lump in my throat. At least they still get to be together in some way.

With everyone going back to their original selves it answers the question that was on all the trailers. You can wipe away a memory but can you wipe away a soul? I guess not.

I liked the payoff of Victor's (sorry, been thinking of him as that too long to suddenly change to "Tony") decision to upgrade with some ninja fighting skills in the last ep. It seemed like such an unimportant, throwaway thing when it happened, yet the desire to not only keep that upgrade but keep acquiring more practically ruined his life, estranging him from his child and the woman he loved. It's actually very similar to what happened with Gunn, tho thankfully this time there was a happier ending...

Despite some slightly lame road-warriorishness in it; I really liked that the seemingly meaningless upgrade in Hollow Men amounted to something. It made the last episode better in hindsight, which is impressive lol.

Such a fantastic episode through and through. I cried at the end. I am sad that it's over, but am happy for the happy ending, and it didn't seem rushed at all to me

Rewatched it earlier, and still got upset. I watched Epitaph One right before, so I was all into it. xD Going to re-rewatch again, soon. I can't get enough of this episode. <3

just watched it....crying now. This was such a great episode! I'm just so sad Topher died.....one of my favorite relationships on Dollhouse was his and Adelle's and how it evolved to a mother/son type bond. I think Adelle is going to mourn his death the most. And thank you Joss for keeping a successful relationship intact! Yay for Priya and Tony and their son!

I've rewatched the last five-ish minutes on Hulu twice now and both times, knowing Topher's death is coming, I want him to walk up to the "To Remember" wall and see a picture of Bennet before he dies.

Some dialogue between Priya and Tony sort of explains why everyone calls Echo Caroline in Epitaph One. When she tells him that he chose to be "Victor" and not himself. That makes me happy cause it bugged me a bit about E1.
