As long as they are consistent with Season 1, we have a strong chance of seeing this show continue.
So fingers crossed!

Much stiffer competition this year... and not a very newbie-friendly first episode.
Praying to Gaia and Cthulhu for a good outcome.

I finally talked my roommate into watching and he quit halfway through cause he had no idea what was going on. Im sure it can stay at the same numbers tho atleast!

well, that's disappointing
a 'Previously on Dollhouse...' might have helped to keep some new viewers more interested, since any new viewer wouldn't understand that episode at all

At least the demo didn't go below 1.0. Omega got a 1.0 and the show was renewed. As long as it doesn't trend down, I won't panic.

Was really hoping for better. The demo wasn't drastically bad though.

Let's face it... the show gets rotten ratings, and there's no reason to believe that will change. With Medium and Ugly Betty to contend with, the numbers are going to probably be lower than last season.
DVR, download and DVD are what got the show renewed, and that's literally all the network is paying attention to, most likely. And there it is, right at the top of the "Most Popular" list on Hulu, as usual.
You can always count on "TV by the Numbers" to trash Dollhouse's ratings right there in the headline too, no matter how old-news it is. I think they feel personally offended that the show got renewed with such low numbers.

i mean with the ratings it got last year, it could easily get a third season... but this is kind of depressing.

It's not going to make it through the season with ratings like that.
I hope they manage to get all 13 episodes filmed before Fox pulls the plug, so we'll at least have a complete second season on DVD.
Oh well. It was nice while it lasted.

I just can't see FOX ordering more episode with these ratings. It fell under 2 million during the last half hour, and was even beat by The CW the previous hour. If it doesn't improve next week, I wouldn't be surprised to see FOX pull it. So yeah, please keep doing the rest of the 13 episodes. FOX renewed it and then dug its grave.

Didn't Joss say he would write Amy into more episodes if it was going to get 'offed'? I', pretty sure I read that somewhere, but I don't know if it was true, or not. :/

If it doesn't improve next week, I wouldn't be surprised to see FOX pull it. But didn't that Reilly guy say that the ratings for Dollhouse don't really matter, and that they're looking more at DVR, iTunes, Hulu, DVD sales blah blah?
