^^ I noticed that, too. I was like "Wtf is Rick Fox doing there?" And he was only on for like 1 minute and a half o.0 I'm hoping with all my might that even though Boyd is the big bad he still has fatherly feelings toward Echo. I thought that relationship was so adorable. I also thought topher/Bennett were adorable...sigh....
Wait, did you just imply that Eliza Dushku and Rick Fox are dating? Too many surprises! >.<

^^ I know, I loved the father/daughter type relationship between Boyd and Echo too. Topher and Bennett were the cutest. Kiss/Ow/Sorry. So cute! I can't believe we're down to our last two episodes- breaks my heart. Yep, Eliza and Rick Fox are dating! I thought that was pretty shocking too. Not sure how long they have been together. They were zombie Bonnie/Clyde for Halloween (the pics were posted via her twitter-- twitpic.com/o9zxf -- totally un-Dollhouse-related. I just got done watching this epise and I'm offended. When Bennett made her first appearance, she became my favorite (along with Victor and Sierra). I should have known better because my favorite characters ALWAYS die no matter what kind of story it is (be it a show, anime, comic, book). On top of that, she and Topher finally got the greenlight to become a couple (which I was rooting for and then quickly realized how foolish I was considering what happens to couples in the Jossverse). Just when I was all happy about Bennett/Topher and that it was confirmed Calire and Boyd were a couple all this Bennett-death-Claire-traitor-Boyd-traitor business happens! I'm upset in so many different ways! Grr! Argh! I'd like to comment on what I thought about the overall episode, but I'm hurt right now. I know, I'm hurt too I'm not going to believe it till it actually happens because it's too perplexing that Boyd is the mastermind because if it were true, it just doesn't add up. What's his motive?

I am really devastated and sad about Boyd...no joke! I really loved his character and his relationship with Echo, and now this recent development forces me to view him in a whole new light..which I hate. Damn you Joss! I really found the relationship between Boyd and Echo endearing, and I have always thought of Boyd as the "Giles" of the Dollhouse universe. Really wasn't expecting this turn of events, but that's what makes the show so great! Can't wait to watch tonight and see how the story continues to unfold. Why, oh why FOX are you canceling our beloved Dollhouse? It's sooooo good! The fact that Joss can make me feel such anger and sadness over a character I loved is what makes this show so great. Why can't FOX see that?! Those kind of twists and turns and evoking of emotions are the hallmark of a great show! One things for sure, I will be glued to my TV tonight! Not wanting Dollhouse to end! FOX, you're making a huuuuuge mistake! Why must this network always screw Joss over? Oh well, another topic for another time. Let's enjoy it while we still have it. LONG LIVE THE DOLLHOUSE! I know, I'm hurt too I'm not going to believe it till it actually happens because it's too perplexing that Boyd is the mastermind because if it were true, it just doesn't add up. What's his motive? Yeah, same here. I'm hoping it's not really true and there's some explanation. Like maybe he's just pretending to be a big bad like Adelle was a few episodes ago? I just really hope it's not true cause I love Boyd. Last week's ep was such a shock. Guess we'll find out tonight.

Little disappointed to hear that Dollhouse isn't exactly planned too well. He wrote Ballard's missing brain element in as it wasn't decided at any point? Wow. This episode suffered from similar choppy pacing that affected "Omega". Tim's been on the end of both, maybe he just gets thrown a lot of exposition near the end of the season. I think this episode just proves that you simply cannot trust anyone on this show ever. There are seriously more twists than a pretzel on this show! I really think that Whiskey is a sleeper who was programmed to usurp the LA Dollhouse's plans, and I can't believe that there is argument over that fact. I think there is argument because Claire is already established to hate Topher through and through, so there's a massive motive already in place. She observes that Bennet is one of the only people to bring the humanity and emotional vunerability out of Topher and then dashes the girl's brain out all over Topher's face. That, coupled with the fact that Claire had just lost her chance of love and didn't act at all like any triggered person we've seen, and there's a pretty strong case for the other option I think. Amy Acker confirmed that Whiskey was a sleeper triggered to shoot Bennett www.ifmagazine.com/feature.asp?article=3685

I wish that confirmation made me feel better, but it doesn't.
It still doesn't make sense on screen, and now it looks like Amy even played it as though she wasn't a sleeper. Oh well, it is over quickly so it's not the end of the world.

Thanks for sharing-- good article. I honestly didn't think Saunders would hate Topher enough to do that to him. She may have strongly disliked him, but she wasn't heartless.

Why does ABC keep us so far apart?)
