did anyone notice the similarities between these two scenes scene from Belle Chose : scene from The Attic : I'm certain that was intentional. They were showing the fragmented pieces of Echo's mind, which would include all of her personalities - including Mr. Serial Killer from Belle Chose.

I just had an OMG moment when I finally realized what that Japanese dude really meant by "I have to enjoy myself". His legs are cut. There are human legs on the table in the kitchen. HE IS EATING HIMSELF! He has to enjoy eating himself... This scene was already high on the creep-o-meter, but with this realization, I think I've hit the creepiest Joss moment ever. I definitely didn't get that when I watched it, good catch! I was wondering what his whole nightmare was beyond eating at a resturaunt.

I thought it was explained when Echo and Dominic are wondering how to get out of his nightmare... "How do we get out of here?" *sees body parts on a table* "...Enjoy ourselves." Maybe his nightmare is cannibalism?

It was clear that is was cannibalism. What wasn't immediately obvious, at least to me, was that he was eating his own legs...

Anyone else think Clyde was lying (or distorting the truth?), i mean why should we believe him??? or Dominic come to that... How do you mean "distorting the truth"? There wasn't a real reason NOT to believe him - he was trapped in the Attic just like everyone else. No real reason to lie when you're technically dead. It's possible he left out some key facts that will become important later, but I somehow doubt it. Same goes for Dominic - despite being a traitor to the 'House, he was locked in a nightmare he couldn't escape. Nightmares are wildly powerful, you know.

Well, Clyde could also be an artificial intelligence. After all, they are able to create entirely new personalities. They usually upload them onto people, but what if they were able to "run" it from a computer? Especially if the computer is made of people's brains... He would have no real body, and would know it. Of course, killing people would weaken the computing power he's using, so that's a hole in that theory Unless he has backup servers. Mike

Did anyone else feel that the end of this episode really had a Buffy/Angel vibe to it? Seeing all the characters in Dewitt's office at the end getting ready to finally go to war against Rossum, reminded me of the Buffy/Angel gang getting ready for an Apocalypse. I'm gonna miss this show so much.

All I have to say is this episode, along with most of this season has rocked my world. To be honest, since the 6th episode of the first season I haven't been very disappointed at all. I can't believe they're canceling this show.
I loved the attic. The idea of is so interesting, and that Japanese guys worst nightmare freaked the hell out of me too.
I did think that the final scene was a very classic round up the rebels, Joss Whedon moment however I thought it was a good one as I was sitting there practically cheering and wishing I didn't have to wait for the next episode. All in all I'm giving this episode a 10.

You know what this episode reminded me of? Angel season 5: Power Play. Duplicity and preparation.
