Added the press release. Big spoilers for both Stop-Loss and The Attic.
Can't wait to get more of Victor's past.

Some pretty epic-type spoilers HERE. Seriously... it pretty much spoils the remaining 5 eps!

O.O Woh. Thats is some spoilers there! I knew about a lot of that stuff already, but hearing more of the Attic was cool. Interesting to have it as a dream like state... And Victor's story in episode 9 sounds so cool! I'm really counting on my 'Alpha/Ballard' theory for the finale. "A big twist when Alpha returns." o.o ... Aw, shit! I hope this doesn't mean anyone OTHER than Ballard dies... Like Boyd. I'm still not a big Boyd fan, but it would be bad to see how he ends! I'm kinda hoping they develope Claire/Boyd in 11 and 12, and show us the scene they showed with those two back in Epitaph One. Also, good to hear that they all planned just up to this finale! At least they got to show us all what was in store. About a half hour until DH! ;D

This one was more action-y, setting up for the next episode and the end of the series. I still very much enjoyed it, especially after the revelations of "The Attic". Enver rocks.

I loved this episode. It was so awesome as was The Attic. Anyone one else catch the Angel reference when Boyd talked to Anthony/Victor?

I loved this episode. It was so awesome as was The Attic. Anyone one else catch the Angel reference when Boyd talked to Anthony/Victor? But of course. Who could miss it? The alleyway in "The Attic" when they first enter Clyde's mind also reminded me of the alley from Angel 4x15 "Orpheus" when Angel and Angelus fight. Dunno why.

That's what I thought too. I was like why does this seem so familiar.

I wasn't too impressed with this episode. It was okay, but I REALLY REALLY wasn't into Echo's constant punning.

It was a good episode. Kind of hard to think about it after The Attic, but still good. Loved that we finally got some long overdue Victor backstory, and a big yay for Anthony and Priya meeting. I actually thought we were going to get happy-ish ending, but Adelle! Olivia Williams was flawless this episode. The shower scene was genius. More of Rossum's plans are always welcome too.

I loved this episode... But, I thought the whole "army of one minded super soldiers" thing was a tad cheesy.

I loved this episode... But, I thought the whole "army of one minded super soldiers" thing was a tad cheesy. They were exploring the possibilities of the Dollhouse technology. What army WOULDN'T want a bunch of soldiers with no individuality?

Of the two eps tonight, this one was by far the inferior one. It wasn't awful, but it wasn't great. The Victor story was okay... and the hivemind thing was definitely an interesting addition. However, I thought they completely blew the subplot about PTSD and how to cope with it. I get that Victor is a soldier, and that apparently soldiers need something to fight for, but the entire thing just went south after he was implanted with the thingamabob. The whole army thing was just a tad... meh for me, and the entire episode just felt like a set-up for "The Attic". These double-feature nights are great and bad at the same time. The bad thing is the first ep always feels like its sole purpose is to set-up the following one, but the good thing is that we don't have to wait a full week for the resolution. Adelle... I kinda love how she was played as being totally despicable... but... "The Attic"... 'nuff said. Also, the puddle of drool when she woke up... that was hilarious, and kinda gross at the same time.

I think the two-fer Fridays system worked out very well. All three of them really seemed like natural double-features. I liked "Stop-Loss" a great deal, though it wasn't as mind-blowingly awesome as "The Attic". As a two-hour movie, though, it worked perfectly.
I know this was just Fox trying to burn off episodes as quickly as possible, in December when nobody cares about ratings. But it turned out well from a creative standpoint.
And I love what they've done with the Hyperion...

And I love what they've done with the Hyperion... Except for the security... that's taken a serious nosedive. Also, it would seem that a anti-human-violence spell needs to be cast now.

Wait, what is this about the Hyperion? Like Angel Hyperion? I'm kind of a dumb-dumb when it comes to Angel references.

Wait, what is this about the Hyperion? Like Angel Hyperion? I'm kind of a dumb-dumb when it comes to Angel references. Yeah, Boyd says he'll be given a room at the Hyperion. It's the hotel featured in seasons 2 thru 4 of Angel. Obviously this Hyperion is in name only, but it was a nice little nod.

Y'know what bugged me about this episode? In "Briar Rose", Alpha tells Ballard that the Dolls are locked in their pods, and only when the light goes off is it safe to open the glass door. Otherwise, he'll trip the alarm. Well, Echo just slides hers open in this ep, without triggering anything. 'Splainy?
