My guess is that The title of this episode is based off of Bennett's left hand. It's covered by that black glove... I bet Caroline did something to her once, and something happened to her left hand... Idk!

This half was incredible. Not as emotionally charged as Belonging, but all the story/character moments worked so well that it might've been the best of the season. The little moments between Topher and Bennett were so perfect, and the tension between Adelle and Lipman was great. Echo and Perrin's conflicts were exciting to watch, wish there had been more of it. Enver killed it as Topher, the scenes between those two had to be the funniest on the show yet. And poor Madeline! I hope this isn't the last time we see her. I hate tragic endings for such adorable people.

((I just copied this from what I wrote in The Public Eye thread. I hope that's okay! I kinda wrote about both in the post.))
This episode, as well as The Public Eye, was amazing.
When it showed Daniel come into view with a bloody nose, I totally lost it! My mouth dropped, I started going, "OMG. OMG. OMG. Insane!" I was so shocked.
The overall plan for the Dollhouse was pretty clever. I was also shocked at what Daniel did at the end of The Left Hand.
Bennett was so cute, and evil. I love her! She and Topher were so cute together! I knew there was going to be something between them! I was grinning so much when it showed them both nervous about meeting the other. In the end, Bennett is too insane for Topher, and that's saying something. (Must add, I loved Bennett's computer, made for only her right hand.)
Adelle kicked some ass, standing her ground. She must have a good grip... lmao.
Omg, Im so shocked at how well Victor(Sorry, too much in awe to remember actor names!) did at acting out Topher! He even sounded like him, and everything! It was so amazing!
... Poor Mellie; Yes, I shall call her Mellie. I take it she got sent to the attic? D:
I'm still wondering about Bennett/Caroline's past. They were best friends, and Bennett lost the use of her left arm... And Caroline left her in trouble... Okay? The flashback didn't really show me what happened, I don't think. Maybe they'll explain it some more soon, when Bennett returns?
Woot! Another Claire mention! I'm pretty sure they've talked about her in every episode, since she left. Well, not in Public Eye, but they did in the second parter. It's like Claire almost isn't gone... Almost. She's had a play, even though she's gone! It just goes to show how important she is.
No Sierra? Hm. I guess she had her moment in Belonging.
Im excited to see Echo/Paul team up, like it showed in the promo. And, yay, for Alpha. The proma for next week looked amazing. I really was left feeling sad after this went off; Seeing how much better the show is getting, and it's slowly nearing its final date. One thing is for sure, this season has been 100% at its best.
BTW I also loved, "You just woke up a lot of people. And they all think you're a bitch!" I think that's how the line went.

Wow, this episode was amazing! I kinda fell in love with Bennett with her craziness mixed with cuteness. Is this the last we'll see of Summer? Because I really want more Bennett/Topher interaction.
Topher/Victopher scenes were amazing also - so hilariously funny and Enver needs an Emmy stat.
I loved all the in-house intrigue and the fact that both Echo and Ballard have gone off the grid. Next week's episodes look amazing, too.
Oh, and how sexualized was the scene where Perrin and Echo cut out each other's tracking devices? The cut away shots to him grabbing her arm - it was pretty intense, but interesting too.

I bet Wesley/Faith fans enjoyed that. Amazing episodes tonight. Summer was amazing, as was Enver. His Topher was even better than his Dominic. He is crazy talented. The entire story around Perrin, his wife, Madeline and the pissing contests between the Dollhouse's was just a whirlwind of awesomeness. Alexis better come back, as it seems like his story is just getting started (and please have him appear in Epitaph 2!).

I am going to write Bennett fanfiction as soon as humanly possible. She. Is. Awesome. ...Oh, the rest of the episode was great too. Topher is just adorable when he's smart and flirty. And I love how he and Bennett double-crossed each other. This whole ep was just fun to watch. I'm glad we got to see the two parts back-to-back, too.

This ep was awesome Echo's really interesting to me right now. And Enver was amazing - I actually thought for a minute is Fran talking and he's just miming? Cause it was so completely Topher! I don't quite get the ending - why did he say Rossum wasn't to blame? Was his imprint overriding what he planned to do??

They were SO GOOD! This and the episode right before the break (the Sierra one) were probably the best the show's ever had, and the next one looks like it's gonna be even better because Alpha pretty much guarantees awesomeness. Ugh, I'm just even more pissed that it got canceled now...damnit, FOX! Also, it'll be TRAGIC if Enver Gjokaj doesn't get a lot of work after Dollhouse. He's one of the best actors I've ever seen. I'm still amazed by his Dominic and his Topher was even better...I seriously thought Fran was doing a voiceover at first, but nope, Enver's just that amazing. And did anyone else catch Maurissa as Kilo? I actually squeed when I saw her

I was expecting Maurissa, since we saw her in the previews. My only complaint is that she played a one-off active and most likely we won't see her again!
I don't know how much I have to add to all of your comments; I second a lot of them.
I assume Perrin did what he did in the end because if he would have exposed the LA Dollhouse, it would have set the plan in motion to eventually make Rossum even more powerful.
One of my favorite lines (I don't know the exact quote) "You bad guys are worse then my bad guys".

This was by far the best episode yet, but I am still puzzled as to why Perrin said what he did at the meeting, am I missing something? And clearly the Topher/Victor stuff was amazing. But I think I'm the only one who disliked Bennett.

I thought Perrin just decided to go back to ignorance instead of fighting. He couldn't deal with what he'd done to his wife and surrendered to a more pleasent reality.

Perrin allowed himself to be apprehended. That much I think they said, or at least that he was apprehended, and Echo not. Probably allowed the DC Dollhouse to wipe him, and re-program him.
Wonder how much time Enver rehearsed his character ticks with Fran... he was really good. Excellent even. The scene where they're discussing Bennett's hotness was hilarious. And the nerd chemistry between Bennett and Topher was really cute. They were just so in awe of each other... and the flirting ("Wasabi peas" may be the best come-on I've ever heard!) was so dorky, that perhaps only dorks can truly appreciate it. Or not.
Felt really bad for Madeline... am wondering if she is now forced to work for the DC Dollhouse, or if she was sent to the Attic in that scene. Right now, I'm leaning towards the latter. That said, all in all, two fantastic eps. Hoping that the quality doesn't let down from here on. The show's finally found its footing. Unfortunately, the plug's been pulled, and from the looks of the ratings, things don't seem to be changing in a way that might favor any sort of reconsideration.

Summer Glau was awesome as Bennet. Dude, when she smashed her head into the screen…rofl. Crazy, just how I like ‘em! I hope Bennet and Caroline’s past together will be explored more. That didn’t seem like Caroline though, she must have already been an active by then. Fran and Summer were awesome together. Poor Mellie, I hope we see more of her again. That was messed up, what Daniel did to her. Never did like Daniel’s wife though. I knew right from the beginning that she was a bad cookie. Enver Gjokaj did such an amazing job as “Topher”. He acted and sounded just like him. It was incredible.

OMFG! The guy who is Victor is the best actor known to mankind. Him being an exact clone of Topher was scary. Sometimes Victor would speak and I would think its Topher! FRIGGIN AWESOME! I can not believe this intricate and beautiful series is going to end forever. I am such a sadface because of it. I love Echo so much! GAH!!!
