I'm right there with you, Jezebel Jinx, on the Jensen Ackles crush. The man is gorgeous!!!! With a Capital "G." He was the main reason I started watching Supernatural. Now I just really like the show, but in the beginning it was for him. Don't I know it. So hot. He's the reason I started watching so many shows. Smallville, Dark Angel, Dawson's Creek, and of course Supernatural. Now granted I've always been interested in paranormal type books/shows/movies/etc so I would have checked out the show even if Jensen Ackles wasn't a part of it but JA was still a big draw for me first tuning in. Big fan of TGIF too. Step by Step, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, Boy Meets World (biggest crush on Shawn/Sean growing up), Family Matters (I think that was on TGIF at some point), and Full House.

^ Oh yeah, me too. Supernatural type shows are the top of my list. But when I saw JA was going to be on Supernatural, I knew I most definately had to watch it. (would have anyway, but some additional motivation is always nice) I had completely forgotten he was on Dawson's Creek. Wasn't his hair longer on that show?
Oh man, I was a Boy Meets World fan too. And yup, it was all Shawn/Sean on that one too. I loved me some Rider Strong back in the day.
Sabrina wasn't on TGIF until I was a bit older and had quit watching it so regularly. But I've seen a ton of episodes of it. And that one guy on there . . . I can't remember his name on the show. . . but he used to play on a Nickelodeon show called Hey Dude. I think his name was Ted on the Nick. show. I thought he was so cute too.
Just looked him up on IMDB. He played Josh on Sabrina. David Lascher is his name.

I'm trying to remember everything I used to watch. Definitely Sabrina and Boy Meets World. I actually just started re-watching BMW for a good laugh a couple weeks ago. I loved Smallville when it started and Dark Angel. I will never forgive Fox for canceling it. It sucks that we didn't get a Max(Jessica Alba) and Alec(Jensen Ackles) pairing. I used to watch King of the Hill, The Simpsons, Malcolm in the Middle and The X files back to back. When I was real little I was a "Fox in the morning" kid so I watched X-men, Spiderman, Power Rangers and all of that. I was even in the Fox kids club. My all time favorite cartoons are Tom and Jerry, The Looney Toons and Scooby Doo. I also watched Full House and Family Matters. Yes I actually liked Urkel. Oh yeah and I liked Hey Arnold and Rugrats. That's all I can think of now. As you can see I was all over the place with television. If I wasn't watching these shows I was usually outside otherwise.

I watched everything which is why I have trouble contributing much to this thread. I was addicted to television as a kid.

I miss the shows I used to watch when I was a kid. My favourites and the ones I really wish would come back on air were:
-Raggy Dolls -Captain Planet -Full House -The Wonder Years -Babar
Kids TV used to be good. The crap that kids are subjected too these days makes me want to cry.

I had completely forgotten he was on Dawson's Creek. Wasn't his hair longer on that show? Yea, his hair was about shoulder length. I prefer him with the hair cut he has now, but he was still hot. ;D He also played Blossom's boyfriend on Blossom for a season or two. I think his character's name was Vince, though I'm not 100% on that. That's another show that I used to watch, I didn't watch it as much as the other shows I've mentioned in earlier posts but I watched it. Joey Lawerence was a major draw.

Never really got the Joey Lawerence thing. Nor do I think I ever watched Blossom. There were a lot of shows I wasn't allowed to watch growing up - like Blossom, My So Called Life, aynthing on MTV, The Simpsons (to this day I've still never seen an episode of The Simpsons)
I remember The Wonder Years. I had a big crush on Fred Savage. He was so cute.
Another show I loved was Are you Afraid of the Dark. It came on Nickolodeon, and a bunch of kids would sit around a camp fire and each week a different person would tell a ghost story. It was never that scary, but I still thought the show was so cool.
And yeah, I prefer JA with short hair as well. And I think I remember seeing or reading somewhere that he got started on some Soap Opera years ago. But I've never seen a Soap Opera before, so I have no clue if its true or which one it would have been.

I've only watched DoOL I think a total of ten eps, sometimes I'd catch an ep after Passions but it was rare. And I think by then JA was already onto other shows at that time.

Probably so. Hasn't everyone been on that show at some point in time? At least its been on long enough for that to be the case. . . And it was. I just IMDBed him. It was DoOL. And he was on Sweet Valley High too. I forgot all about that show. Man I used to watch that a bunch too. Good times. Good times. Oh, and wishbone too. I LOVED Wishbone!!!!!! So Jezebel Jinx (think I'll call you JJ for short, if that's okay), I'm beginning to think we should start a Jensen Ackles thread with how much we mention him on here. ha ha. Or a JJ's and Dusk's Hottie Thread. Whatcha think? lol. Moon Eyes, I forgot all about Hey Arnold and Rugrats till you mentioned it. Do you remember the cartoon Doug? It came out about the same time as the other two. I watched it as well. Also watched a lot of Sci Fi (now SyFy) channel as a kid.

And not just the TV Show, I used to read the books religiously. I loved the Wakefield twins! Can I get in on this thread? I love Jensen, he's hot stuff! I used to watch him on Days of Our Lives and when I first saw the ad for Supernatural I was so excited!

Pretty much whatever my mom was watching. Plus Mad About You, Martin Friends, and Seinfeld. Of course I forgot about my Powerpuff Girls, Johnny Bravo, Dexter Laboratory and Ed Edd n Eddy. @hh - I think you're right. I watch a lot of television too. There is just too much for me to remember.

Me too apparently. I Can't believe I forgot Seinfeld, of all shows. Shame on me. And yes AngelFaith, you can get in on this new JA thread as well. But (gasp) what would Eric say? We'll start it once JJ is on board. ha ha. And yes, I have watched (and still do watch) too much TV in my life as well, which is probably why I am forgetting shows as well. It would probably be really sad if I sat down and thought abouthow much TV I watch for too long. So, I'm not going to do that.

Oh, I forgot Seinfeld too, I loved that show. I also always enjoyed Frasier.
Married With Children is always a good one too. I remember watching that when I was growing up. I still watch it on reruns from time to time.

Or a JJ's and Dusk's Hottie Thread. Whatcha think? lol. JJ's just fine. We should definitely start a thread like that. Whether it's a JA thread or a multiple hottie thread. There are so many hotties out there to gush about. I completely forgot about that one. Which is weird because I watched Season 4 only a week ago. Such a funny show.

I completely forgot about one of my all time favourite shows as a kid. It was called Out of this World and was about a girl who's dad was an alien and she could stop time by pressing her index fingers together. I used to be obsessed with it.

He kept me focused through all of season 2 of Dark Angel. I loved Alec-centric episodes. I watch Supernatural too, but eventually I couldn't keep up with all my shows. My attention span has grown incredibly small. Will have to get back to it. I used to love this other show called Special Unit 2. I think it aired on Syfy for a while but I missed that boat. Also liked Once a Thief which starred Nicholas Lea (love the man), and another older show called Spy Game. I think I was like 10 when that show aired, and it got canceled. Everything I like gets canceled.

Oh, there was another kids-show that I used to love called Ocean Girl. It was about this teenage girl called Neri who came to earth from another planet and she basically lived in the ocean and needed the sea water to survive.
It was an Australian production, so I'm not sure if it was broadcast overseas, but it was awesome and I loved it so much!
