So I'm both going to push the guys I watch on youtube for movie reviews and the awesome film Inception. I just saw it today and I definitely agree with their reviews. Has anyone else seen it yet? Amazing!
i will say I'm usually one to give the writer at least a little more credit than the director, but the direction in this movie is flawless! This would be nowhere near as good without the talents of Christopher Nolan. It's simply breathtaking

I loved it. It was smart, thought provoking, brilliantly shot and wonderfully acted. For such a complex movie, it was remarkably easy to follow and coherent, and reminded me of The Matrix in that respect.
Christopher Nolan has proven himself to be the next Hitchcock, Kubrick or Spielberg once again with this movie, which was every bit of a worthy followup to the amazing The Dark Knight. Leonardo DiCaprio, Ken Watanabe and Joseph Gordon-Levitt all gave their best performances to date, and the rest of the cast was excellent as well.
I can't wait to see it again next weekend, and I can't recommend it enough. Easily the best movie of the year so far (with Toy Story 3 a very close second).

I really want to see it, I adore Christopher Nolan after seeing the Dark knight and do look forward to seeing what he's done with this.

This movie is even better the second time. At some parts it feels a little more tell than show, having to remind the audience what's going on, but overall this is a masterpiece.

This and the Lost finale are my favorite movie blockbusters of the year. Yeah, you have to think a bunch while watching it, but its pretty easy to follow in the end I think. And the last scene with Leo seeing everyone on his plane whilst Hans Zimmer knocks the score of out of the park is worth the price of admission alone. Third rock from the sun guy stole every scene he was in, but homeboy did a pretty good job all things considered.

Yeah I thought the acting from everyone was top notch. Honestly I just thought the movie was top notch. The music, direction, acting, writing/premise. It was just one of the better movies that has come out in awhile. And I can't stress this enough (again) the most visually stunning movie I've seen in awhile. Christopher Nolan is boss.

My boyfriend is so excited about this movie. We haven't been able to see it yet with me being ill but as soon as I am better we are going. It seemed like it was going to be a fantastic movie anyway but hearing you all say how great it is is an even better review.

Amazing movie. One of the best I've seen. Ever. Great story, and characters. All of the performances were spot on... I wanna see it again, if you can't tell already.

Best film I've seen in a long time. Was gripping my seat very tightly the entire time, probably would have started bleeding soon enough. Chris Nolan broke the laws of physics.

Saw it today. I found the first ten/fifteen minutes a little slow, but after that it was just freakin' awesome. The visuals alone are amazing, the direction's brilliant and the acting was great too. I'm so seeing this again ... and again ... and again, and again, and again.

I saw it yesterday and loved it. Probably my favorite movie of the past couple years, at least. Christopher Nolan moves up to the "A" list with this one.
It was certainly good to see a movie this good that's not a reboot/remake/sequel, expects some level of intelligence on the part of the viewer, and wasn't forced into tacky 3-D just because "these big-budget movies have to be in 3-D."
The only things that harshed my buzz was the number of commercials I had to watch before the previews (about 10, after having just paid for the privilege), and the fact that the theater turned off the movie sound during the closing credits and instead played the stupid promotional reel they have on between showings. That better have been just a mistake, because if it happens again I'm going to have a confrontation with the manager. I paid for a whole movie, sound and all.

I almost died it was so good.
easily the best part in my opinion, was when Arthur was fighting those guys in the hotel when the gravity kept changing because of the van. SO cool!

I should point out what my favorite scene was! It wasn't the hotel gravity scene, actually - though that one's second-best. My favorite scene was when Ariadne was first learning about how to build dream spaces, and she makes the city fold on top of itself. I said, out loud, "That is f***ing cool" and everybody around me looked at me funny. True story. (That was also the only time I ever spoke out loud during the film; the rest of the time I was tightly clutching my soda and leaning forward, mind racing.)

I really loved the movie. Thought the characters were awesome and well acted, and the visuals and story were very cool. I had a few gripes though. Prob doesn't need spoiler notes, but i'll do it anyway. 1. The character of Ariadne. The fact that she was to be the new maze/labyrinth maker. The original Ariadne of Greek mythology dabbled in the same area. Now maybe if they had given her that nickname after they saw how well she created these mazes I would have been more liking of it. 2. As cool as all of the endless fighting was i'd love to know the kill count in the last half hour. I think it was 312 military trained bad guys killed by the whole of the 5? people. lol 3. The 'Kick' in the deepest dream. She looked to of hit the ground, which would have killed her not kicked her. The fall itself was to do that.
I need to see it again anyway. Still thoroughly enjoyed it. I loved the ending too.

My official review: People say 'Avatar' is the best movie... They mean it WAS. Step aside, 'Avatar', 'Inception' is in the lead. Christopher Nolan proves, yet again, that he is a talented, brilliant man. His ideas are picture perfect. 'Batman Begins' and 'The Dark Knight' are both excellent films, but 'Inception' beats both of them, hands down. From beginning to end, this movie was perfect. The final shot of the film is just - I'm going to use my new favorite word - nifty. I only ask for one thing: NO SEQUEL. 'Inception' is great as it is, don't add on to it. I really don't see how a sequel could be made, either. So, easily, this film gets five stars out of five stars. Best film of the year (Sorry, 'Toy Story 3'!).

I saw Inception this week and I dunno... I thought the visual effects were amazing and the score was moving and fit with the movie but the story was really predictable. *waits for things to be thrown at her* I was bored most of the time because I could already tell where the story was going, and no nobody had spoiled me. I liked it, I just didn't think it was the mind blowing experience everyone I know claimed it was. :/
