I really can't believe this, actors need to pick their feet up off the floor and start being better role models. I'm actually really upset, I thought he was a decent guy and I hope this isn't true.

I think it's awful that actors think they're above the law like this, I really hope he didn't do it but he probably did.

Problem is that they are public figures. If it were a nobody living next door having affairs and such no one would give second glance. It's about time people in the public eye had their privacy respected too.
Going to the accusation, she may be annoyed that he didn't harass her!

It's about time people in the public eye had their privacy respected too. But they're public figures by choice. They know what they're getting into when they get into it -- therefore, it's their responsibility to assume more responsibility and actually be responsible. Anyway, I really, really hope David didn't do this. Whedonverse actors rarely get in trouble, and I'd be disappointed if they started.

Sorry, I thought the link took you directly to the section I was looking at. Some commenters began discussing James Marsters's taste in girls and proceeded to say that he wrote a song about Michelle Trachtenberg back when they were both on Buffy. It doesn't surprise me, but it still makes me cringe. Commence cringing... DB' wife must have the patience of a saint.

Some commenters began discussing James Marsters's taste in girls and proceeded to say that he wrote a song about Michelle Trachtenberg back when they were both on Buffy. I read the lyrics of the song and they're about a girl with long, brown hair who is too young for him to date and all that jazz. And apparently years later he admitted that the song was about a Buffy cast member. Actually, seeing as his fiance was 16 when they met, this would not suprise me if it were true. I'm just seeing this and that is quite disturbing.

You saying I wouldn't freak out as much if I found out that my neighbour might have been masterbating in front of unwilling viewers? ' I would move!

I'm kind of disgusted that people believe this so easily. It makes me sick to my stomach, seriously. What's more easy to believe, someone wanting money and doing something shitty to get it or the actual accusation?
I personally know someone who was falsely accused, and it's not fun. It's gross that people believe such a thing so easily. Really indicative of how gullible and susceptible to "GUESS WHAT I HEARD" people can be.

You have statistics that show that people are more likely to lie like this to get money than to harass people? I personally have no idea which is more likely. I think a lot of people in this thread have a "I hope he didn't do it attitude, but he seems to be a sleeze". Don't generalize, please.

I think a lot of people in this thread have a "I hope he didn't do it attitude, but he seems to be a sleeze". Don't generalize, please. Wasn't generalizing the entire thread. Saw more than one person (as I said in my post, "people," not everyone) who pretty much reacted with either "I hope not, BUT IT IS PROBABLY TRUE" or shock and disgust at a man who, for all they know, hasn't done anything. Which is a bit weird, no? I think so.

I looked at the picture for the video of the woman with the lawyer she's got this look of "Yay! I can get moneyz!" This woman just wants her 15 minutes and ruin a guys career.

I sincerely hope it isn't true (and would like to believe she was just in it to get money). Either way, she'll be going to that "special" hell.

I read about this on TMZ. The allegations seem really bizarre and untrue IMO. If this really happened I can't believe she would sit in the car the entire time and watch him. Why not get out the car? Even if the doors are locked I'm going to make some type of attempt to get out. Then after the first encounter she goes to his trailer AGAIN to have him supposedly repeat what he did before. Why would she go to his trailer alone with him after he allegedly harassed her the first time? Something about this whole story isn't right.

^^ Too be fair, people can act irrational and stupid and self-destructive, while still being a victim. Hope she's lying tough.

Yeah I phrased that incorrectly. My mistake. But for the most part, if you feel harassed or violated, you tell the police who would then file a restraining order against the accused. Not file a suit to get money from it.
