About the hardcovers;
I want to get them because of the extras and that they'll last longer than single issues, but should I buy now or later? Will they get cheaper or more expensive?
I'm not so good at telling when the time is to buy when it comes to comics.

I'm not so good at telling when the time is to buy when it comes to comics. Comic collections never really increase or decrease in price. The only time I could think that you would get, say the Spike:AtF HC cheaper would be through a sale or something.

I think the first volume has actually gone up a little since release, although not by much and probably due to inlfation or what have you. I'd just get them from release really cause they're awesome, and you won't be losing any money on them.

Thanks guys. In that case I think I'll wait until I get a job until I start buying the HCs when I already have the singles.

Hey, did you all see the notes at the back where Brian says Jeremy was based on Jim from The Office. That totally made my day, because I thought Jeremy looked like John Krasinski and to find out that it was deliberate was just brilliant because I love that show. I smiled even more when I read Angel #17 and saw Jeremy proposing to Pam from The Office. Brian, please put Jeremy in the new Spike series!

But is't that the final cover??? Yeah Tony Harris's cover for ANGEL: AFTER THE FALL #2 is the cover for the SPIKE: AFTER THE FALL HC. Don't trust the covers you may see on Amazon or other places, you can even verify the cover by checking out Brian and Chris Ryall's blogs.

That would make us happy, and as Joss Whedon fans we can't have that. -But I'm torn, because I like Jeremy. -But he got a God king fist through the chest. -But I like him. -But we want to be realistic, don't we? -But... -No BUTS! (My inner voices are loud today.)

(My inner voices are loud today.) Jeremy seems like a perfectly realistic candidate for further appearances. He's a Lynch-created character, and many of those have returned/will return, and he's unusually popular with the fans (as Brian himself acknowledges in the HC). Plus, there's a precedent for minor characters reappearing in spin-offs, look at Wesley. I think Jeremy would be a great addition to the Spike regular cast, he could totally ground the series in reality.

I bought it a few days ago, I really liked it... Jeremy was really cool and I liked seeing Illyria and Connor, I no longer Hate Spike as much as I once did, There are so many characters I dodn't really like in the show But I like in the comics... Spike,Illyria, Gwen... Was all of 'Spike' set before 'Angel after the fall' ?

Thanks, thats what I thought but then I saw when Illyria was being Fred she had a wound on her stomach and I thought that’s was from Gunn in issue #13, But I don’t know… I have only really read up to the second trade (and some of 9-12-13-17) I will have to re-read them all...

Ohhh, by "bring-backsies", you meant back from the dead... I thought you meant bringing back characters in general. Sorry.
