I'm gonna go to bed in a bit. I'm gonna go to Edinburgh tomorrow afternoon and stay at my sisters so I can get to the train station easier on Friday morning.
I really hope this hotel has a TV that's easy to get to in the rooms so I can hook up my DVD player and catch up with Bones.

really should be in bed already. I have been trying this early to bed, early to rise mumbo jumbo this week. Not usually my cup of tea, but trying to get to work earlier so I can leave earlier. This is the latest I have been up this week, which is normally still early for me. But I will be heading off here soon. Just had to get my nightly forum fix.

yuck. SOrry your office is so hot, DR. I have that problem when I come in each morning. At night before someone leaves they turn the unit off or up to 85 degrees, so it is always hot when I come it. But I can turn the AC back down and it cools off after an hours or so. Sounds like your office is lacking AC? Hey there dusk, exactly: No AC whatsoever. Just a window. And I have cooled town my office to 84° Fahrenheit now, which is pretty good. Students' papers are drippling in and I am in the course of reading them. Some of my students wish me fun. It's funny but that bothers me. It's like they suggest that their papers are really good so obviously I will have fun. But I have to judge that, no? Besides, there is no fun in reading papers in this heat. I dunno, maybe I am just strung up.

I did not know that the school in Bruce Almighty was the same as the one used in Buffy. You learn something new everyday (or so they say)

I'm rocking my "I logged out for THIS?" t-shirt. Now I'm going to go to my sisters house.
Well, in an hour and a half.

I want to get back under the covers and sleep in, but have to get ready and go to work. Mental health days should be mandatory! *Yawn*

A "I logged out for THIS?" t-shirt sounds cool. Sounds spunky and very fitting for the people ho knows me. Where can I get one?
********
I'm sad because I just decided to cancel the Electrik Tiki Spike statue. I have a 180 USD mastercard debt, a student loan that will end up costing me over 19 000, and after making that post of things I want to do or get in life in the Bucket List thread, I realize that this item, with the VAT and shipping and taxes, plus the 130 USD for the item, would cost me more than a tattoo and a course in scuba diving, parachuting, canoeing and maybe even more than a plane ticket to London and back.
I have to stop spending money on things that will look good on shelves, and start living. But man, this is hard. I want that damn statue... But considering that I will probably get almost as happy looking at 12£ mini customs on my shelf as that tiki, that's the right thing to do. Yep. It is. I'm canceling right now.
Yep... Soon...

I mean thinkg how many of the cheaper ones you could buy for the price of the more expensive one, you could fill your house with them...

Skipped school again this week. Not feeling too guilty though. My projects are basically finished, and I hate showing up to class and pretending to work on something. Just hoping it doesn't effect my grade..

Besides, there is no fun in reading papers in this heat. I dunno, maybe I am just strung up. Oh, man. That has really got to stink. Why is there no AC? Gotta love students who assume you will like your paper. But on the plus side, that means they were excited about what they turned in and were quite possibly really passionate about writing it. Or they could just be really sarcastic. Who knows. Counting down till I leave work. I'm so tired of being here. I get this way come Thursday and Friday each week. Okay, come Monday, if I'm really being honest. Love my boss. Hate my job. I suppose they balance each other out in the grand scheme.

Good! We're glad you feel at home, Scar.
PJ, so sorry to hear the trip with your dad to deliver the stuff was so awful. But I'm glad you guys made it back okay, despite all the mishaps.
