Vampire Suck - I loved it. It was hilarious for the jokes and the stupidity of the film itself. I loved the joke about Buffy, even though it was only 5 seconds long and kind of stupid.
"I was going to help you, you stupid bitch!"

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Absolutely loved it! Great animation, characters and story. I have been wanting to see this for so long and I wasn't disappointed

Glad you liked it. Having Neil Patrick Harris voice the monkey did seem like more of a piece of trivia to mention than anything else, because his voice wasn't very recognizable. It was the first 3D movie I'd seen and while it might be a strange word to describe a movie like this, it was one beautiful-looking movie that gets the appetite going.

^^I did love it, thanks I know, I was the same about Neil voicing the monkey!! I didn't watch it in 3D but I would like to. I watched The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas the other day and it was such a sad film. I have been wanting to read the book for so long and see the film, and it didn't disappoint. It was beautifully and simply put together, a very strong and serious issue dealt with in a simple and piercing way. I definitely want to read the book now.

^^ I've been wanting to see that for ages, then my sister ruined the ending for me.
Just watched Wild America. Have not seen that movie since I was a kid. Still love it. And Devon Sawa is still so cute! But seriously, 90s kids movies were the best, they don't make them like that anymore.

I love Beauty and the Beast so much. My boyfriend took me to see a musical version at the theatre years ago and it was amazing

Splice - the first 70-80 minutesI kinda liked it. There were a few unbelievable, silly parts, but it's not exactly hard science fiction, so I let it go. I really liked the actors and their performances. Delphine Chanéac/Dren was especially impressive considering she didn't speak. I think it brought up some interesting ethical questions, but didn't explore them as much as it should. 8 / 10 Splice - the last 20-30 minutesA really crappy horror film. In a matter of minutes, the audience is expected to switch from sympathizing with and rooting for Dren to hating her and rooting for the humans who mistreated and abused her throughout the movie.
It's also really, really sexist. Dren all of a sudden goes on a killing and murdering rampage and the only excuse is because she became male? That really pissed me off. 0 / 10
Did this movie piss anyone else off?

^^I haven't seen it so can't comment, sorry! I may also not bother watching it after reading your comments I watched 500 Days of Summer today and it was awesome. I loved the way it was put together and how the story developed. Highly recommended.

Die Hard With A Vengeance. It was the only Die Hard film out of the four I hadn't seen until now, as I have them all on DVD as a birthday present. I thought it was quite good and entertaining

9. It was awesome, reminded me of a really dark Wall-E. It was eerie and dark, the animation was fantastic and I really enjoyed it.

Resident Evil: Afterlife - Got some free movie tickets and saw this with my brother on Monday. I enjoyed it, it wasn't my favorite of the 4 films but it wasn't my least favorite either. In Extinction I was left with the feeling that I missed part of the story, IMO there should have been at least one movie in between movies 2 & 3, also in 3, the question of what happened to Jill and to the little girl from Apocalypse bugged me and hung around in my head for the whole movie, however with this one I didn't have any burning questions that bugged me like that. Overall I liked the movie. 6.5/10

However, this is only what I've been told by my friend who is a huge fan of the RE series. I don't know what happened to Jill though, but when I saw Afterlife I saw her right at the end on the plane wearing the red spider thing that Claire was wearing when Alice found her. As for the last film I saw: Resident Evil: Degeneration. 8/10, great film, but I prefer the live action RE films.

The last movie I watched was actually the Buffy movie. I haven't seen it in YEARS and my cousin and I just decided to have a random sit down one night and watch it. It was amusing I literally hadn't seen it since before the television series went off the air.

I watched a very modern version of The Velveteen Rabbit on Friday, which was okay but very cheesy and took a lot of the magic away from the beauty of the book and original working of it.
We watched The Frighteners on Friday night. My boyfriend had never seen it and it has been years since I have and I forgot just how awesome it is!

I watched Splice I liked it enough I guess. I wasn't as awesome as some of the reviews led me to believe but it was OK. I agree with what everyone is saying that the movie takes to dramatic of a turn at the end...I wouldn't have a problem with the ending/twist if it hadn't have happened so fast or with out explanation. What bugged me was that it was a relatively short movie and it REALLY could have benefited greatly from another 20 minutes leading into the ending.

Fog of war. It's a documentary on Robert McNamara that I had to watch for film study. There is this one part of the interview where McNamara talks about taking a personality test and the one question he brought up was whether he would rather be a coal miner, or a florist. He said he was a florist at one point but picked coal miner anyways because he knew the implications of picking florist. It reminded me of the numerous times florists are brought up in the Whedonverse.

D2: The Mighty Ducks
I love those movies! They take me right back to the 90s, when they still made the cheesy kids movies that had real heart. They just don't make them like that anymore.
