I think that it was very suspiscious that he turned up when the delivery guys delivered blood, and assumed that if Buffy hadn't been there, he would have stolen some. I might have been imagining it, but he looked a bit disapointed r hesitant when she asked him to give it to the hospital.
I guess one could fankwank it and say that he used to eat pig blood in season 1 & 2, and then stopped, but I doubt that, specially since Angelus complain in Season 4 of Ats that Angel only (I think he said only) drank pig's blood after Angel drank from that dead guy.
So I guess that's a continuity error.

Angel drinks pigs blood, and when he starts drinking human blood he starts wanting to eat peope again. So why is it in Buffy he's always drinking human blood from the hospital? Maybe I just need to rewatch the bit in Angel where he talks about not drinking human blood... It could be the fact that the human blood he was drinking was Connor's.....and Connor isn't exactly human. Angel was acting on a high after drinking Connor's blood, so it could be that Connor's blood has different properties to normal human blood

^^ I assumed she meant when he drank Buffy's or Kate's blood. In the first ep of Angel, he wanted to drink the blood of a girl he had just saved, which was probably (partly) from drinking Buffy's blood, and after drinking Kate's blood in season 2, he had withdrawl issues.

Well, human blood is a vampire's natural blood and would be a lot better than pig's blood. The desire for human blood will always be there, but can be quelled by other mammalian blood. He had been drinking pig's blood for a long time and then gets a hit of human blood when he bites Kate. It's gotta do something to you
And Slayer's blood is an aphrodisiac and has 'magical' properties, so Angel would probably be still feeling the effects for a while. And human blood would be irresistible for a vampire, regardless if you drank pig's blood or not

^I'm going to give you karma if you're a Girlfriends fan and if you're not I still give it to you for liking Persia White. The only time one actor on both shows as a different character bothered me was Knox. CWDP people was such a great episode and then Conviction comes on and there Holden Webster. WTH? Well, Tom Lenk first appeared in S5 as one of Harmony's minions. Then the next season comes around, and he's Andrew.

^But his make-up as a vampire makes him fairly unrecognisable, like how Luke in the first season is The Judge in season two.
Though it;s then confusing when they do things like have Cecile and Halfrek be the same person, because you could either notice that or notice that they're the same actor and think that it's the same as the others. I think it's sloppy to have the same actor play two characters unlinked without making them unrecognisable .

^^ The Halfrek thing made me crazy until I heard they were the same person (Joss and the actress had apparently said it). I thought that it would be most logical if they were the same, since Spike and she acted awkward around each other, but I couldn't know for sure.

It's probably cause I started watching Buffy during season 6 and had to go back to see him in season 5 after I read it somewhere that he was in that episode. I can't remember for sure but I think the first time I watched Real Me I must have not have recognized him. Actually now I think about it, it was weird seeing him as a vampire.

I never understood why there was this need to link Andrew to that guy from 'The Prom' who raised those hell hounds. It's not as though it made any difference either way.
Speaking of Andrew, and speaking of this thread:
Seeing Andrew on this series always bugged me. I remember there was this fan-created 'season 6' opening title sequence that featured him as a regular cast member and the very idea of that makes me shudder. He just didn't fit at all.

I believe I saw that too on youtube. I remember thinking Andrew apart of season 6 Angel. Never!

I think that Andrew was trying to get out of the shadow of his more famous brother, and that gave him depth, and was probably his main reason for him to become a villain. i'm glad they made sure to gave him that to fill in his otherwise dry backstory.
maybe if his brother had been a semi succesful hero-type, andrew would have tried to do the hero-thing sooner.

I remember reading somewhere that it was originally suppose to be Tucker in season 6 instead of Andrew, but the actor was unavailable or whatever. So they used Andrew as a running gag with being his brother.

I think it could have worked, that his brother was successful at raising hellhounds and being well known at school. Thus Andrew felt the need to live up to it and be an even more famous villain.

It would have made for some great little trivia, since Tucker (Brad Wells) was Jonathan's singing voice in 'Superstar'.

I'm watching 'Are you now or have you ever been.' Now I could be mistaken, but I believe Alexis D. is a little taller than David B. Yet in this episode when Wes ask Angel about his car Angel is like a few inches taller than him. I rewind it a couple times and their not standing on a sidewalk or anything. WTH? Is Angel wearing lift.

Didn't Spike once say that Angel wore lifts? as an off-the-cuff insult, nothing to take seriously.

I hate the scene from You're Welcome where Cordelia calls Eve "Lilah Junior."
What a massive insult to Lilah! Seriously, as funny as that line is, I hate it. Lilah is one of my favourite characters. She's hot, she's tough, she's awesome. Eve can't possibly compare. She's such a pale comparison, similar to the way Gavin was for Lindsay.

A) Eve was trying to be like Lilah in Cordy's eyes and B) guess it can be an insult to Lilah as well, seeing as how Cordy never liked her much
