Well, apparently I was wrong. It's not cropped, at least not according to Jeanty.

Got a tweet answer from Scott. Apparently they're only hiding one of the covers, and since we've seen Jeanty's, I'm guessing Chen's cover is being hidden until #37 (and possibly #38) comes out.

If Xander's going to die in #39, I doubt they'd put it on the cover. Maybe it will be FANGED Xander.

I think the cover will be the betrayal scene, or Buffy during the betrayal, with maybe a hint at who the betrayer/s is/are.

I would love if Jo Chen's cover was a rendition of the scene from Anywhere but Here, like "the" scene of the betrayal with whomever is the betrayer standing over her. I think she could really make that scene come to life in a cover. Whatever it may be I think I will thoroughly enjoy it!

I wonder how, when, and why she'll lose her superpowers... since right now, nothing could beat her up like that.

I really think Dawn will betray Buffy, breaking the seed to rid the world of magic and have the prospect of a new life demon and magic-free.
I dont think Xander would ever betray Buffy, even for a life with Dawn. The impact of it being Dawn would be more painful than it would if it were Xander. In my eyes, the Xan-Man already laid a whammy on Buffy for rejecting her. Hurt by Xander. Giles chose to team with Faith. Hurt Buffy there too. Willow already did her thing too, with the Kennedy thing, and also the killing of Future Willow. Really messed up Buffy there.
The only one left is Dawn.

This is probaly a really dumb question but is Last Gleaming 4 or 5 issues?

5 issues. But #39 is apparently kind of the closer of the season, with #40 being sort of a denouement issue.

If breaking the seed ends all magic, then Angel and Spike die. Dawn probably as well.

There's no definite answer to that until they break it.
I wonder if the breakage just means a portal opens and all magic and demons flows down into it like a drain?

If breaking the seed ends all magic, then Angel and Spike die. Dawn probably as well. Don’t think so, Angel and Spike wouldn’t die – they’re vampires – supernatural creatures, but not magical creatures. I think the vampires and the demons wouldn't lose anything - they aren't exactly creatures created by magic. Theirs souls would stay either – Angel’s soul is a curse and Spike earned (restored) his – their souls belong to them not by a magic. I don’t think Spike would lose his steampunk ship or his crew they aren’t creating by magic. They are more scientific (Sci-fi) things than magical. But Angel would lose his superpowers for sure and he will turn into a common vampire again. Buffy's Slayer's powers will stay – she is a called Slayer, but she would lose her newly- acquired superpowers (unwillingly sucked by the killed Slayers). And Faith is a called Slayer either so she wouldn’t lose her powers. But the other Slayers would - their powers have been given to the potential Slayers with a magic. Willow probably will lose her magical powers (or a part of them) either. But unfortunately Dawn will die - she is created entirely with a magic. About the traitor… I don’t think the traitor is Dawn, Xander, Giles or Willow… I’m suspecting someone, but I prefer to don’t share my suspicions here… Probably… maybe all vampires, demons, witches and slayers will slide into another dimension as it was shown in Fray’s story. We’ll see…
