These DVDs are up for sale on ebay, The seller says they were found in the attic of their new home (LUCKY!) and they are all original, not copied, dvds but i have never seen them before in this packaging... I know there's about 3 or 4 different packaged sets of seasons 1-7 over here in the UK, is this maybe a set that was released and i've missed?

They look like the packaging on the old video box-sets. My assumption is tha they are a collection of the individual seasons, maybe even of the individual boxes (i.e. season one pt 1 etc)

It's not the ones that come with the magazine and i don't think they are early UK ones because i remember when the DVD's first came out and they were the bible boxsets (apart from season one which folded out into a cross) I don't think they're British cause they don't have the age rating on the side which pretty much every UK dvd has. And the season 7 disc with dawn on it is throwing me too, it looks like it's a season 8 comic pic :S

That Trachtenberg pic is old, I think I remember seeing shortly after season 7 finished (which first made me think these were home made copies before you said they weren't).

Hmmmm interesting find. I have the bible book sets, and also am collecting the ones with the magazines, and these are obviously neither. That Dawn one is puzzling me too. Are all the dvds like that on the front, or just that one? I recognise the 'best of buffy' dvd on the top and the other one with it, which is a best of character dvd. I am going to go and google until we find out this mystery!!
Edit: The eBay ad says they are region 4 australia, which would explain why we haven't seen them before in the UK. Mystery over *goes to find something else exciting to investigate*

Find the Lorne poster from the How Do You Display blabla thread. I think it's off a comic cover.

Edit: The eBay ad says they are region 4 australia, which would explain why we haven't seen them before in the UK. Mystery over *goes to find something else exciting to investigate* That Dawn cover doesn't look familiar at all, and I've seen most of the different covers that came out here in Aus. The rest look like one of the versions released here, but that Dawn cover is a mystery ... now I'm compelled to find out when it was released and if it really is from Aus. I'm off to investigate!
