I'll delete this thread soon, I promise. But I have a question about btvs member Master Pizza. I wouldn't normally do something like this, but I know he's not a member here so I don't feel like I'm being too rude. Anyway, is anyone here working on a transaction with him right now? I've been working on one with him since September, and for the past months he keeps changing the deal with me and having me go to stores to buy him things just to later change his mind about what he wants. During January we finally worked out a deal, but he still hasn't paid me yet becuase he's on vacation. If anyone is working on something with him now, please let me know how that's going. I don't like to be rude like this, but if he's really not on vacation this wouldn't be the first he's lied. He may just have bad luck, but when he was ready to pay me in December I had to wait longer because he he had to save up for his $200 bird because his old one died. Sorry to ramble, but I just want to know if it's worth finishing up this transaction or not.
-Thanks

I've had issues like the one you're having too John. It happened last summer, he didn't pay for like 2-3 months because he said he was on vacation, and then he finally paid and I had to hold onto it for another month until he got back from vacation. The way it sounds is that he's always on vacation....
But lately he bought from me twice and one he paid for right away and another it took him a week or two to pay. Both were for small amounts though. And he had me send the stuff to Jinxieman, because he's holding some of his purchases for him until he gets back from vacation.
I hope all goes well with your transaction John, it seems like he wants more stuff than he can afford right now, which isn't fair to you or somebody else he's doing this to.

I've got like $70 plus of stuff he hasn't paid for waiting, 6 auctions worth of stuff he had sent to me in the meantime (why he was able to pay for those, and not my figures, is a mystery to me) and another $60 of stuff he paid for last summer and asked me to hold onto for him till he got back from vacation (which was December supposedly.) In the meantime while he hasn't paid me, he has stayed busy on ebay, and keeps posting new "looking for" threads over at BTVSFIGS, which really bugs me everytime I see them. He wants me to break up all the stuff going to him into 3 or 4 packages. He has also changed the deal a number of times along the way.

He had me send things to Jinxieman also recently, because he (Mr. Pizza) was on vacation, so I think he was telling the truth about that.
EDIT: Well, we had a deal going through and I didn't hear from him for a long time so asked him if he was still interested. He had changed his mind. I'm ok with people changing their minds, but a little time to send a PM and say I'm not interested anymore would be appreciated. From what I understand, he has been having people hold things and then backing out of a lot of deals lately.

I sold him some figures over a year ago, I don't remember exactly when now, and it was pretty much a nightmare. It was only a $20 deal, and if I hadn't really wanted to get rid of the stuff, I would've called it off. He kept changing his mind about what he wanted, asking if I had otther things and then adding them to the deal, then taking them out again. Took him ages to pay, and then he kept changing the date he wanted the stuff sent on. I finally just sent it after I got his payment, so he couldn't change his mind again.
I hope your deal works out, Kenobi, best of luck with it. Not to be discouraging, but I decided as soon as I put his stuff in the mail, that was the last time I was going to deal with him.

Sorry to bring this back up, but I'm still working on the transaction I brought up in this thread last March. The deal keeps changing, and as urbandruid put it, I wouldn't be dealing with all this if I didn't really want to get rid of this stuff. He keeps wanting me to "find more stuff to sell" so he can save on shipping costs. I think the deal is almost over with, but it's just been a large hassle up to this point. I'm currently the one causing the problems (I've yet to find anything else to sell him), but I still think this deal went on way too long.

My god! A year later and your *still* working on the deal? You must want rid of that stuff bad!
I'm afraid i'd havta be upfront about it and frankly ask him if he wants the items. Sounds like he's having you running around for nothing.

He sounds unrealiable. Going back on his deal all the time. get him to transer the money before you buy anything else, don't feel like you owe him anything.

This guy is driving me insane! I thought things were finally going well, but now it's all just falling apart. A few months ago, he decided to commission me to make a "You're Welcome" Cordy and insisted that I waited to ship anything until it was finished. I agreed. He also offered to provide the parts (A Darla body and a YW Cordy head). The Darla figure arrived in about a week from an ebay seller whom MP gave my address to. Then I waited for Cordy to arrive. I pm'd him about the delay, and he kept saying that "it would be coming" (apparently he was trying to obtain one through ANOTHER deal from another btvsfigs member). Anyway, the Cordy still hasn't come and I still haven't even been able to start the custom.
Today, I get this message from MP:
"Hi, an ebay seller made a mistake and you'll get a jansport bag so if you like storage it with the other items that i need to pay you or shipping it to me, let me know when you get it, here's the track number some sellers always did this
Here's the track
(I deleted this for the sake of things)
The package is from
shawn kelchner
Thanks and sorry for the big mistake. "
I don't know how something like that happened and why I still don't have the Cordy head, but this guy is driving me nuts. For future reference, DON'T do business with this guy unless you absolutely have to.

How much does this guy owe you?
If you think you can sell the items you have now, without losing too much money, do it.
Pay him for the Darla figure and cut your loses. Don't feel like a quiter, you had no idea this was coming.

Just about. The deal was put on hold temporarily because of my broken wrist and the fact that I couldn't work on the custom at all. Now that the cast is off, I'm working on the figure and hope to get this resolved soon.
