I cant wait for this issue, its got really good potential and it make the comic going into its Ten's. Only thing that bugged me with the preview was the sand then grass thing i hoe they change it before printing other then that i liked the preview. I like Willow being able to fly in the comics since its not something they could really do on the show.

A review:
SPOILERS!!
Buffy the Vampire Slayer #10 From: Dark Horse Comics Written By: Joss Whedon Art By: Cliff Richards, Andy Owens Review by Tim Janson
After penning the first five issues of the new Buffy series, series creator Joss Whedon returns for two more issues beginning with issue number ten. Also back for this issue is longtime Buffy artist Cliff Richards. Together, the pair deliver a unique and off-beat story, self-contained and one that you could pickup and read without necessarily having read the previous issues. Buffy and Willow are soaring through the skies…well, Willow is soaring while Buffy is hanging on for her dear life. They arrive at a small countryside cottage, the lair of the demon Sephrilian. The cottage is guarded by what Willow refers to as a “Minder” who watches over the cottage.
The cottage is an unstable reality; a time-space dimensional anomaly, which is MUCH larger inside and it, appears from the outside. They’ve some seeking the aid of the demon in their coming war. This demon is able to show Buffy and Willow a possible future reality and all is definitely NOT good. Buffy and Willow play a little game of fantasy as Buffy dreams up encounters with the new James Bond, Daniel Craig, and later with Christian Bale. Buffy is shown that she is betrayed by someone very close to her while Willow reveals her insecurity over her new relationship with Kennedy and why she’s kept her away from Buffy. The implications are that Willow indirectly blames Buffy for Tara being murdered by Warren and doesn’t want Kennedy to suffer the same fate. While their futures are uncertain, the demon has given them several disheartening events to consider.
While toned somewhat darkly, the story still does manage to hold on to the usual Whedon witty banter between Buffy and Willow as well as between Xander and Dawn as Xander does his best to make Dawn feel normal even though she’s stuck in giant-size. Dawn as a secret of her own that she reveals to Xander about how she came to be in this condition. It was great to see Richards back, even if it does appear to be for only one issue for now. The issues written by Whedon have such a distinctly different feel than those written by anyone else…or it at least seems that way. I wonder if I convince myself of that just because I see his name in the credits but he certainly has a great feel for the characters and all their idiosyncrasies than any other writer. As long as Whedon continues to show up periodically and lend his talents to the series, it should enjoy another long run.
I cannot wait to get this!!

No, but in a very real sense all of them - Willow included - share some responsibility for not taking the nerd herd seriously enough. They should have been locked up or put down long before they got that far along.

I hope Buffy and Will grow from this experience and not stray from eachother. Especially, since Buffy and Giles' relationship is as strange as it is.

Willow and Kennedy: what do you know, I'm releived. I think Kennedy could be redeemed as a character, given the chance. Plus, it's great to see that Warren's psychological imapact on Willow is actually gettting some coverage. I would have thought she would be a lot more scared of him than she seems to be.
Plus, Buffy and Christian Bale is fun. I love Batman Begins.

Meh im not happy that Will and Ken are still sorta a thing. I wasn't happy when they first got together I was hoping they split. I don't think they would last long.

It's very likely Joss is setting up Willow and Satsu. Whatever. I could certainly go either way.

I think I may be able to start to like Kennedy depending on how they portray her now. I can't wait to see how Dawn tells Xander exactly how she got into the predicament she in right now.

willow and kenedy still together... ugh.. lmao spoiler

spoilerIn the spoiler posted above, it mentions Buffy being betrayed by someone close to her. This got me thinking... Satsu? I don't think so, because their relationship seems to be one-sided. I really think it's Giles; his whole cavorting with demons and setting up missions behind Buffy's back has bad news written all over it. You'd think he'd learn... but where would the fun in that be? I have to say I'm loving the artwork in this issue. Before the faces seemed a bit off... from the preview pages, it feels as if I'm watching it on the TV again. By the by, is Xander getting hotter or what?? As for the sand/dead grass issue, it looks fine to me, lol. Grass has been known to grow in sand from time to time. I just hope they can reconcile the Giles/Buffy relationship, makes me sad to see those two fighting.

It seems really late on to have problems between Willow and Buffy about Warren. It depends on how Joss handles it though I guess. Tara was killed in the cross-fire of Buffy vs. Evil, so it's not unexpected that Willow has issues with Kennedy being around her.
As for Kennedy; I have no problem with her even though she's my least liked Buffy/Angel character. I like them all.
I don't buy that Giles is Buffy's betrayer. It's out of character and way too obvious. At the same time, the Giles is evil mislead has been done before...
... Maybe it's Dawn? She's not too fond of Buffy right now.

That pink punk slayer was mentioned before, but isn't she in Southern Italy? If so, could she be considered an insider? I tried looking at the frames after Willow beams Buffy back to Scotland, but couldn't make any faces out other than Willow and Xander, and boy-do I hope it isn't either one of those.
Dawnie? The inside man?? I dunno. Seems a little far-fetched. What about the two slayers that weren't picked for Buffy's special mission to rescue Willow? I don't think any ill will was presented... but I do think the "inside man" resides in the Scotland castle.

Without anything whatsoever to back me up, I'm going to guess the "inside man" is: (drum roll...) Rowena! ...or possibly Leah. ...nah, it's gotta be Satsu. ...on the other hand, Renee is buddying up to Xander an awful lot. And she's not even a demon! What's up wid dat? Dawn? Yeah, Dawn's P.O.'d, it's gotta be... ...Andrew, the little worm, or maybe... ...ok, i'll shut up now....

I bet it's a new character, but we haven't really learned anything about any of them yet, so they need to build up their character a bit first. Whichever new character gets the most lines between now and when the traitor is revealed is my pick. So, probably Satsu or Renee.
