My fav episode is Once More With Feeling, closely followed by School Hard. I own all of the seasons. My favorites change a lot, but these two are still my favorites. And I can't believe I've liked Illyria this long. I thought I just started liking her out of no where. Now I have Seasons 1 and 2 of BONES and all seasons available of SMALLVILLE. My poor pictures had to be thrown away when I moved. Maybe Ethan saved the pictures of my walls that I sent him, but I doubt his phone has that much memory. But she was put back in it shortly after this post I believe.

Hi guys!
My real name is Angela. I'm American, with great interest in all things Russian, and I know a lot about it, from pronouncing names correctly (unlike most Western films I've seen!) to the lives of Russian historical figures and celebrities, to various traditions and superstitions. It is because of my interest in Russia that I chose my screen name, referring to the 1997 film Anastasia, in which the main character was nicknamed "Anya." Since she was the daughter of the last Tzar, Nicholai, her patronymic was Nikolaievna. So, that's why I chose AnyaNikolaievna. You guys can call me Anya or Angela, whichever you like. I came here technically under false pretense, Kara compared this site to a serious writing site I've been taking part in for about 5 years, so I thought this was for serious writers. I came with the intention of expanding on my writing. Instead I have found some wonderful friends! I*'m very glad I came.
I am a fan of Anne Rice novels, not so much Buffy when it comes to vampires. I love to read pretty much anything though, from Robert Alexander to Marion Zimmer Bradley (lol). I love Shakespeare, my favorite play is Titus Andronicus. I also enjoy his rival Christopher Marlowe (Doctor Faustus). There are many authors I enjoy reading, including Stephen King, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Tolstoy, Robert Massie, J. K. Rowling, J. R. R. Tolkien, Edgar Allen Poe, Charles [censored!]ens, Alexandre Dumas, and C. S. Lewis, among others. I also read nonfiction biographies and autobiographies, particularly about Scott Hamilton and Ekaterina Gordeeva, Olympic Champions in figure skating. I also enjoy biographies about Mario Lemieux, a Pittsburgh Penguins hockey star, and Wladyslaw Szpilman, the pianist whose life was told in the film The Pianist. I also enjoy reading mythology, folk tales, legends, and fairy tales. It's impossible for me to decide what my favorite book of all time is, but right now it's The Stand: Uncut Edition by Stephen King.
Because of my interest in reading, I also love writing. Writing is my life, my greatest passion in terms of actual activities. I write just about ever genre, from poetry to everyday life in fition, to fantasy and horror, and I even delve into some editorials/articles every once in a while. I am working on several novels at this time, one I have been working on for 8 years about a Russian male figure skater and what he goes through in his life. I am also writing a novel about a vampire who was a son of Peter the Great, taken from his life of luxury and forced to live as a creature of the night, each night seeking revenge upon the vampire who made him and all other ruthless, cruel vampires. It's partially inspired by Anne Rice's works, but also the film Vampire Journals, of which I am a huge fan. I would also like to follow in Robert Alexander's footsteps, and create novels based on the Russian Revolutions and the events preceeding them, with particular emphasis on the last Tzar's only son, the Tzarevich Aleksei Nicholaievich. But I haven't actually started on this yet.
I collect several things, mainly suvenir mugs and keychains. I also love to collect photographs of figure skaters and other memoribilia related to them. My pride in my collection is a Kristi Yamaguchi snow globe which I received as a Christmas present a few years ago from my now sister-in-law. I also collect carousel figurines, movie-related music boxes and figurines, and dolphin memoribilia. Doilphins and tigers are my favorite animals. I also love doves, but don't have anything of them. I am also a film score collector, with a tiny collection of only 120 or so. For those who don't know, a film score is the music within a film that was written directly for it, and I am only interested in the orchestral score unless the particular film is a musical suh as Sweeny Todd. I've been collecting for 14 years. I have many favorite composers, among them Jerry Goldsmith (The Mummy, Mulan, First Knight, The Omen 1976, Patton, Poltergeist, Alien, Star Trek among others), Elmer Bernstein (The Ten Commandments, To Kill A Mockingbird, The Magnificent 7, Far From Heaven, among others), Howard Shore (Lord of the Rings, among others), John Williams (everyone knows him I'm sure), Bernard Herman (Psycho, Vertigo, among many others), Maurice Jarre (Lawrence of Arabia, among others), James Horner (Titanic, Mask of Zorro, American Tail, among many others), Elliot Goldenthal (Interview With The Vampire, Frida, Across The Universe, Titus, among others), James Newton Howard (King Kong, The Village, The Sixth Sense, Signs, Unbreakable, among many others), Miklos Rosza (Ben-Hur, among others), Nino Rota (Romeo & Juliet, The Godfather, among others), Max Steiner (Gone With The Wind, Casablanca, among others), and Craig Armstrong (The Quiet American, Moulin Rouge!, Romeo + Juliet, Love Actually, among others), primarily. I love other film composers too but those are the names I throw around the most as my favorites. My favorite score of all time is The Ten Commandments by Elmer Bernstein (I am a huge fan of brass!). I also enjoy the Brokeback Mountain score by Gustavo Santaolalla.
I am going to be 26 years old in just 20 days. I have my heart set on somehow acquiring "Nicholas & Aleandra: The Family Albums," an out-of-print rare book which has photographs of the last Tzar and his family, with captions and subtext by Prince Michael of Greece, a distant relative. This book is very difficult to find under $70, but I found it for $60 including shipping and you can bet I'm not going to pass that up! I would also like to start collecting rare books, particularly first editions signed by the authors. I have great interest in first editions of The Haunting Of Hill House, by Shirley Jackson, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang by Ian Fleming, The Princess Bride, by William Goldman, My Sergei: A Love Story by Ekaterina Gordeeva (I already have it, but I want it in hardcover, SIGNED!), Landing It: My Life On and Off the Ice, by Scott Hamilton (same as My Sergei, I already have it, but I want it in hardcover, signed!), The Long Program, by Peggy Fleming, Icebreaker, by Rudy Galindo, and Boitano's Edge, by Brian Boitano, among many, many others. I just think it would be interesting to start colledcting something so enduring and valuable.
My favorite foods are Italian and Chinese, seafood especially. For sweets I enjoy Little Debbie Cakes, ice cream, any flavor, any kind of chocolate (except dark), especially Cadbury's Easter Eggs! Man, I could live on those alone for the rest of my life LOL.
I love keeping my brain occupied, which is why I make it a point to watch Jeopardy every time it's on. Sometimes I miss it, but most of the time I catch it and do pretty well. I hope one day to audition to be a contestant.
As I said, I'm a fan of figure skating. I don't skate myself, but (LOL) I know enough about it to make people THINK I do! My favorite skaters of all time are (in random order!) Evgeni Plushenko, Alexander Abt, Alexei Yagudin, Alexei Urmanov, Alexander Fadeev, Todd Eldredge, Kurt Browning, Ilia Kulik, Johnny Weir (I'm an Angel!), Viktor Petrenko, Rudy Galindo, Brian Orser, Brian Boitano, Scott Hamilton (who doesn't love him?), Paul Wylie, Jefrey Buttle, Stephane Lambiel, Daisuke Takahashi, Takeshi Honda, Chengjiang Li, Shawn Sawyer, Tomas Verner, Yu-Na Kim, Mao Asada, Alyssa Czisny, Bebe Liang, Shizuka Arakawa, Carolina Kostner, Irina [censored!]skaya, Katerina Witt, Kristi Yamaguchi, Michelle Kwan, Yuka Sato, Fumie Suguri, Miki Ando, Lu Chen (aka "Lulu"), Elena Sokolova, Elena Genadedashvilii (she's Georgian, very hard name to spell sorry if I get it wrong LOL), Sara Meier, Rachel Flatt, Katy Taylor, Mirai Nagasu, Ekaterina Gordeeva, Angela Nikodinov, pairs skaters Gordeeva & Grinkov, Berezhnaya & Sikharulidze, Shen & Zhao, Pang & Tong, Petrova & Tikhonov, Savchenko & Solkowy, Kazakova & Dmitriev, Mishkatanuk & Dmitriev, Bechke & Petrov, the Protopopovs, Zhang & Zhang, Ina & Zimmerman, Sato & Dungjen, Meeno & Sand, Inoue & Baldwin, and ice dancers Anissina & Peizerat (how often do you see a WOMAN lift a MAN?), Lobacheva & Averbukh, Roca & Sur, Dubreil & Lauzon, the Kerr siblings, Denkova & Stavisky, Drobiasko & Vanagas, Domnina & Shabalin, Delobel & Schoenfelder, Gregory & Petukhov, Grishuk & Platov, Usova & Platov, Klimova & Ponamerenko, Bestiamianova & Bukin, and Krylova & Ovsionokov. (before anyone asks, I have not seen enough of Torvil & Dean to count them amng my favorites, but yes, they were magnificent!)
Another hobby I have is making graphics.l I love to create wallpapers, buttons, avatars, icons, banners, signatures, whatever is needed or wanted. I TAKE REQUESTS for those interested!
Well, that's me. I am certain I've given you all MUH more than you'd ever be interested in, but for those who actually enjoyed this little blurb, I'm glad it didn't go to waste LOL.

Hi =]
My name is Cristina but everyone calls me Cris. I'm 20 and heres a fun fact the Angel season finale was on my birthday lol. Honestly I didn't get into Buffy until the third season when Faith was brought in. That's what made me go back and watch the first two seasons plus the movie. Needless to say I fell in love with the show, characters, plots everything.
Im a graphic design major. I love drawing and writing. I rp a lot on myspace actually and have a few things up on fanfic.net I have a youtube account that I make vids in and thats actally how I found SlayAlive.
So yeah I'll close this with a random pointless fact about myself. I never went to a co-ed high school soo I feel like I missed out on all the fun stuff ha ha

Okay...
I'll say something more about me. My name's Giulia, I'm 15 and I live in Italy. I attend a linguistic high school, foreign languages are my passion! I love English since I was 7, and all my teachers used to tell me I was (and still I am, I hope ;D) good at it. I ask you to be patient with me, 'cause I can make some mistakes. I also hope you will improve me when that happens ;D
Whatever, I'm a big Buffy fan but I look so little compared to some members! Well, if you'd like to know me, just...pm me ;D

Hello. My name is Sarah and I am 17 years old (9-4-92). I live in Tennessee and have been obsessed with Buffy since I first watched it during my fall break. Obviously it wasn't that long ago, but I loved it from the start. I have an obsessive personality. I get obsessed with something and don't stop until I find something else to catch my interest. Among my previous/current obsessions are The Phantom of the Opera, Harry Potter, True Blood, Buffy, Gerard Butler, James Marsters, Fruits Basket, Vampire Knight, Kare Kano, Ouran Host Club, all Madea movies, Gossip Girl, Friends, etc. My longest obsession is Harry Potter and my strongest obsession is a tie between The Phantom of the Opera and Buffy. In the fall I plan to attend Middle Tennessee State University and major in English with a focus on Creative Writing. I was also accepted into Hollins University, but I'd rather stay in my state for now. - I've been working on a book series since 2007.
- I am attending Dragon Con 2010.
- I am the President of the Creative Writing Club at my school. (Pi Rho)
- I love mythology.
- Fiction=my favorite
- I tend to go for older guys.
- I'm a HUGE Spuffy fan.
- I used to be Willow/Oz all the way, but after watching seasons five, six, and seven about 39028402203308272658500241 times I'm a Twillow fan all the way.
- I'm reading season 8 right now but I have to wait and buy them via graphic novels at Borders so I'm behind everyone else.
- I skipped seasons 1-4 of Angel because I didn't want to like the character Angel again. But I did watch season 5 for Spike.
- I myspace roleplay and have been since 2006.
- I check SlayAlive every day because I'm that much of a nerd.
I can't really think of any others, but this was fun. ^^ Oh! And I watched all 7 seasons of Buffy in three weeks.

Nice introduction.
I really think you're missing out on a lot by not wathcing season 1-4 of Angel tough. Maybe you'll still like it, because the other characters' have great arcs. And Angel does a lot of crappy things, so your dislike might still be intact at the end (okay, hard not to love him or feel sympathy for him most of the time, specially during season 1).

Hey everybody! My name is Kellie and I'm 26 years old. I live with my husband of one year in a small town in Florida. We share our home with two crazy pugs, Zoe and Xander (yes, named after the Whedonverse characters ), and a crazy kitty named Galahad. Sometimes I feel like I am the only Buffy/Whedonverse fan around here. I have to travel 45 minutes away just to pick up the Buffy and Angel comics (no comic shop here)! Because of this sometimes my reading of the comics gets delayed. So, I may not know many Buffy/whedonverse fans around here, but thankfully I have SlayAlive, which allows me to come and talk to many like minded individuals. I have been a Buffy fan since I was 15, when my best friend got me hooked on the show. She is still my best friend and we still talk about and love Buffy. Non Buffy related stuff about me, I am a grad student working on my Master's Degree in counseling.

Hi, my name is Lara and I'm 25. I was talked into watching Buffy almost a year ago and now me and my mother are hooked. My mother is my best friend. My love life stinks. It's almost as bad as Buffy's. Pretty close actually. hehe I even have a Spike. Spike is his favorite character too I think I had two Angel(us)' hehe. No soul there; I just wish they had been as funny as Angelus. I am between jobs as my last one was insane. I am going to school to get a business degree so I can own a business. At my last job, I acted as manager on a regular basis and it gave me the business management bug. Now I feel like it's my talent and my way to possibly help the world. Laugh if you want. Give me until next year this time and I'll be ready.

^^^Before I begin I just want to say great taste in rabbit names Natalie!
Ok so ehre it goes . . .
Hi I'm Billie I go to an all-girls high school in England and I'm off to university in about a year's time
I love Buffy and I'm a little mad, which I think is the best way to be because at least you're unique. I suck at art and everything practical (including cooking, my family don't even let me near the oven usually) I'm terrible at sport and avoid it at all costs but I'm very good academically- I'm top of my class in all my A-level subjects and I got 9 A stars in my GCSEs- I'm studying for 4 A-levels- French, History, English and Chemistry- and want to do a degree in history. I live in the middle of England (so nowhere near the sea sadly) and I have a Saturday job at a fruit and veg shop in my town. I was originally planning on taking a gap year before uni to stalk David Boreanaz until my careers advisor pursuaded me against this. I have a boyfriend who's strangely also called Billy . . .
Overall I'm really terrible at introducing myself, i always seem to mess it up so I just end up blurting out facts, if you get to know me you'll figure out that despite being incredibly random I'm actually a pretty nice person (she says modestly) and, other than Buffy and Angel of course, I LOVE GLEE!

I haven't done this yet Hi, my name is Ryan. I'm 16, from Ireland and I'm a very cool person. I don't like writing long intro's so I will write a little paragraph and bullet point the rest . Go to an integrated school, one of the only integrated schools in Northern Ireland so me and my friends are from all different religions and backgrounds. We make a joke sometimes that we look like a few random people who bumped into each other in the streets. I also go to a cross-community youth club were I am a member of the youth committee and therefore make some decisions on what to do with the funds and help sort any problems. I do feel strongly about racism, sectarianism, homophobia and so forth, sounds corny but I dream of a united world. Doing my AS levels at Secondary school now, that's the same as doing my second last year of high school in the US. I am studying ICT/Computers, Media and Moving Image Arts aka Film Studies. Once I finish school I am hoping to continue to university and study a degree related to the media industry. Outside of my studies I see myself doing plenty of volunteer work, particularly at youth clubs. I am guaranteed a volunteer youth leader position at my current youth club when I turn 18. Currently have no job and not looking for one until I catch up with my studies. No partner, I am only 16 after all although most of you probably know that I am gay. So that's the paragraph done, I imagined it being shorter than that Favorite TV Shows:Buffy Charmed Dollhouse LOST GLEE Skins Shameless The Simpsons Family Guy Friends Desperate Housewives Ugly Betty Favorite FilmsDon't know why I made this section as I can never list favorite films, there really are too many that I love equally. Favorite Bands/Artist:Evanescence Within Temptation Lady Gaga Breaking Benjamin Pink Kelly Clarkson Nightwish Tarja Turunen The Rasmus Avril Lavigne Paramore Nickleback and oh so many more... SOME FACTSFavorite Color: Black/Dark Blueish Purple Favorite Buffy Character: Xander Motto in Life: Everyone dances to the beat of their own drum, once all those different drums come together, they create a beautiful sound

This thread was a little dead when I signed up, but I feel like posting anyways...
So Hey, I'm Elena. Currently, I'm 17 and about set to graduate high school. Next year I'm going to go to college, and I'll possibly major in art. If I do, I'll probably do a double major, just to be practical. I got into Buffy two years ago I think, and watched all seven seasons in less than three months, but have yet to watch more than a few episodes of Angel. Since then, I've watched it through another time or two, but mostly I focus on fostering new obsessions. I fall in love with tv shows like its my job.
My current list of favorites: Robin Hood Bones Freaks and Geeks My Life As Liz The Office
Its hard to narrow down, but my favorite movies: Forrest Gump Fight Club Stand By Me Walk the Line When Harry Met Sally Whip It
Favorite Bands: Modest Mouse The Killers Born Ruffians Florence and the Machine Regina Spektor

Hello all! My name is Louise but I prefer being called Lou. I am 28 (29 next month) and live in Staffordshire, England but am from Gwynedd, Wales originally. I studied law at University and have a law degree and postgraduate qualifications in legal practice. I couldn't manage to get a training contract to be a solicitor (too much competition) so ended up doing office work, which I actually quite like, and I have managed to work my way up to quite a good level. I am hoping to move back to Wales in the next few years as I miss my home country. I live with my boyfriend, who I met at University many years ago, and my hamster Matilda, who is almost a year old. I got into Buffy about five years ago, depite many of my friends being into it when it was on television, I never really had an interest back then in it. I saw some of series one on Sky at a friend's house and really liked it, and then one of my local shops was selling all the video boxsets for £4.99 each, buy one get one free, so I decided to buy the whole lot of Buffy and quickly got addicted! My boyfriend bought me three 6" Buffy figures for my birthday just after I started getting into the shows, which quickly started my obsession with collecting figures. That then went on to comics and magazines, followed by trading cards, jewellery, books and everything inbetween, I even have chocolate bars and a skateboard!! My favourite characters are Cordelia, Buffy and Anya. I am a Buffy & Riley girl all the way, although do like Angel and Spike, just not as much In addition to Buffy and Angel, other tv shows I like are Hollyoaks, Dollhouse, Glee, South Park and The Hills. I like horror films (old classics like Halloween, Friday 13th, Candyman etc), pop music (love Britney and Girls Aloud) but like lots of other music too (one of my fave singers is called Devil Doll, she does rockabilly/country/jazz style songs). I am a real girlie girl, I love shoes (huge heels are my fave), clothes, make-up, anything pink, anything fluffy!!

This thread's a little dead atm, but I enjoyed reading everyone's bio, so here's mine, in case anyone's interested. My name's Rachel, I'm twenty-four years old and live in Australia. I'm the oldest of four kids and am totally freaked out by the fact that my little siblings are all growing up so fast! I used to live in Canberra, but several months ago my boyfriend and I relocated to a tiny country town about an hour-and-a-half from my home city. My life has been pretty insane, and I think I've definitely had more experiences and been through more than the average twenty-four-year-old. Not to sound too emo, but I feel fairly damaged a lot of the time. It hides behind an outgoing and spunky facade. I'm a loyal friend, fiercely protective of those I love and a real home-and-family girl. I currently work as a waitress and am trying ot figure out whether or not to continue studying via correspondance or just enroll in Uni or CIT when we move back to Canberra. I have been obsessed with Buffy since High School and with Angel since I was about nineteen/twenty. I am a huge Bangel fan, can't stand Season 6 Spuffy and hate Cangel. I also love Tara/Willow, Xander/Cordy and Wes/Lilah. My other favourite TV shows are Gilmore Girls, Smallville, The O.C., That 70s Show, Tru Calling and Scrubs. I also love movies and have a huge collection that covers almost all genres. Hobbies include writing (just recently finished my first novel which I'm now flogging to every and any literary agent I can find), making fanvids, watching and dissecting movies and just spending time with my boy and my friends. Guess that's all for now.
