I'm a HUGE fan of Jon's work. So I'm really excited that he's doing the covers. He seems to have a better grasp on the female anatomy than Jo. I'm in love with his color choice and the dynamics of the poses he uses. Yay Jon! I hope you're staying with us for a long time! how are jon's likenesses? we obviously cannot tell in this cover...

Jon Foster didn't do A Stake to the Heart, that was Brian Horton. But they do look similar in style.

Brian Horton also did the covers for 'The Death of Buffy'. Which were amazing. The likeness to the characters was astounding.

So then...that's the Twilight guy from the end of issue 9 on the main cover. That's cool. The title is also really cool and makes a lot of sense now: "A Beautiful Sunset" = Twilight. I know that everyone else can make these connections...I'm just really excited about where things are going and that we get a whole stand along dealing with Buffy and the Twilight...and it's only 2 issues away!
I wonder if he can only appear during twilight...

He looks kind of scary, which is good. I would love to see Buffy get back to it's horror roots a little. The show was almost never scary... the Gentleman were the only really scary monsters in the entire series. This new guy could be a real menacing creep, or he could just be a mexican wrestler.

I wonder if there is someone behind the mask, or if it is even a mask. I can't wait to see more of this villian, he looked really cool. I also really love his motives and I think it will make it pretty hard on the Scoobies in future issues.

I wonder if this means the people in Issue 1 (who were killed by the demons) were followers of Twilight.
I wonder what they were doing there? Trying to slay demons??

Maybe he set it up just to see the Slayers, well Buffy, in action. We already know he doesn't care much about his followers. The demons kill the people, the Slayers kill the demons. He could of set up the entire thing.

I think the demons may have been fighting against Twilight and Buffy didn't know that they were fighting against the same foe. It would seem that the demons would not want Twilight succeed in his plans. Buffy might have to team up with the demon community to stop Twilight. Maybe in the end she seals off the Magics of the world to protect them from destruction...and that is why they are able to seep back in bringing us the world we see in Fray.

The title is also really cool and makes a lot of sense now: "A Beautiful Sunset" = Twilight. Also, it refers back to issue one, where Buffy says the Twilight symbol looks like 'a beautiful sunset'. Now that the Big Bad is in action, I'm - finally - excited about these comics. MB x

Yeah Twilight is the new Big Bad on the cover of A Beautiful Sunset. Can't wait for this issue to see Buffy and Twilight meet.

I think Giles was spot on when he said someone was trying them to get to fight each other. That seems to be what Twilight's all about.

I would say by the end of the season it will be one slayer army vs another one. It seems to be what Twilight is up to.

How did Twilight even know that Giles killed Roden, and Faith killed Gigi.. he says he pit 'slayer against slayer' 'watcher against warlock' .. maybe this is the wrong thread But how does he know that's how it went down? Like the idea that demons were fighting twilights followers.. makes sense. A confused sense.

who knows, maybe that creature that was trying to break the barrier around Gigi's mansion, is working for Twilight. Maybe he's omniscient?
But, I don't think I like the idea of Buffy being the slayer who threw all the supernatural things out of our dimension. Maybe, she tried it, and another slayer did it later on? In, Fray, Urkonn said 21st Century Slayer, he wasn't specific who this slayer was. Also, is Joss going to continue with Fray eventually?

I seem to remember reading somewhere that a sequel to Fray is going to come out eventually, but I'm not positive and I don't know where I saw it. If there is going to be one, it won't be for a while I would think, since Joss has so much on his plate right now. Another project would make everything even more off-schedule than it already is.
