Couple of questions...is Dracula just a normal vampire now and was that Twilight at the end on the ship? Yes, Dracula is a normal vampire now, very nobel of him to give up his powers to save the Slayers. And it was Dracula at the end on the ship. I've already written what I thought of Wolves at the Gate as seperate issues but I have to say over all this is the...I would never use the word "worst" because that is 100% not true it was a fantastic arc, but it is not the best out of the three that we have all read so far. My season 8 list gpes like this: 1) No Future For You 2) Time Of Your Life (Not out but I know I'll love it based on what I've already read of Fray and the previews) 3) The Long Way Home 4) Wolves At The Gate This is all just my opinion before I get attacked. lol I'll laugh if you end up hating Time of Your Life. I'm VERY excited for it, but all of Joss' issues, save A Beautiful Sunset, have been my least favorite of Season 8. I hope he delivers with this arc.

I know But I love Fray. Long Way home wasn't that goo. I know but Issue one was fantastic, I still rembember being completley shocked by the..."look what she did to her last town" and then we see Sunnydale in complete ruins with the helicopter flying over it. That and we get at the end of issue 2, Willow saying "As a friend of mine once said, I'd like to test that theory" Don't get me wrong I did like Wolves At The Gate. It is probably the arc that has made me laugh out loud the most...which when you are on the bus by your slelf i pretty embaresing.....ALTHOUGH you may still be able to laugh at me and I will sit down and excpt it as I've just remembered that Dawn turns into a Centeaur in part 3, and so far I'm really not loving that idea, unless it has a good way of brining it aroun and not just.. "Oh Buffy by the way I'm not a giant anymore, I'm now a freaky horse looking thing" But I guess w'll need to all wait and see.

It's a good theory, except that the Council got blown up very early-on in the First's attacks, even before Buffy mentioned the idea of her being saved for last (and by then, she knew about the end of the Council). The First also sent the Bringers to Buffy's house to attack them and capture Spike, even before the attack on the Council, so it wasn't exactly going lo-pro... Well, I didn't say that the first planned well, but who knows how many potentials that died before the scoobies knew about it? I'm assuming that the first is considering Buffy a threat of course. At least 7 potentials were killed that I counted before the scoobies became clear on the situation, here is how I met this conclusion: 1) the potential in Istanbul from ep. 1 2) the potential in Frankfurt from ep. 2 3) Nora from episode 9 (I believe) in London 4) unnamed dead potential in Switzerland 5) unnamed dead potential in Munich 6) unnamed dead potential in Rome 7) unnamed dead potential in Melbourne **the last four were briefly mentioned by one of the watchers at the end of episode 9 as casualities before the council was destroyed....also earlier in the episode after Buffy calls the Council to find Giles, Quentin walks in front of a map with marked locations, now these can either be locations of potentials or marking the locations of the confirmed dead

Ok, Im late on this but I just finished Wolves at the Gate and why is Buffy doing the whole ''experimental lesbian'' thing? It just isnt Buffy. Thats why Willow stands out for me because she is really the only lesbian character who is part of the main gang(Tara being next of course). I dont think they should do this with Buffy, I feel that they're doing this just for the sake of it.

That probably sounds more homofobic than you meant, but still. Willow's not special because she like girls, and Buffy isn't any different than before. She just has more experiences now and possibly, if she's in a club looking for some action, she has more options. Unless Satsu was the only woman who could turn her on. I'm not sure what you meant with "for the sake of it". For me, this is like making Xander go on a rode trip, or Joyce dying or the potentials being made slayers. In away, it's always for the sake of it. I'm not sure if Joss had a agenda with this thing, to schock us or teach us something. It's just another part of the story.
