Working through my Tolkien library again. I started with the Silmarillion, then the Hobbit and I'm currently on The Two Towers part of The Lord of the Rings. Never seem to get bored of these stories.

I'm reading <u>100 Years Of Solitude</u> by Gabriel Marquez right now. Having trouble getting into it, though. I think my attention span has died over the past month or so.

Working through my Tolkien library again. I started with the Silmarillion, then the Hobbit and I'm currently on The Two Towers part of The Lord of the Rings. Never seem to get bored of these stories. We read the Hobbit + The Trilogy in one of my high school English classes and it was like the greatest thing ever. Everybody else in the class was like "Ugh. This is crap!" and I was like "Yes! I get to read them again AND get tested on my knowledge! Woo-hoo!" The Return of the King test was SUPER hard. I missed like 4 or 5 out of 50 or so and the person with the next highest grade only got like 13 questions right out of the whole test haha.

You got to write a test on LOTR? WOW seriously Hey its only natural for a lot of people to not understand the importance of Tolkien's writings , i mean people even complain when they get to read Shakeaspeare as a homework assignment .

Well in my country it would be out of the blue for a high school teacher tor include LOTR in his course and have his/hers pupils write an exam about it. I know it sounds weird but thats how things are here . Really? About Shrek?

I just finished Bones: Buried Deep. It was a good read. Almost exactly like the show. I started the first Darth Bane novel today too.

I have already read this book, but you should all check it out. It's amazing. My friend's (Aloha Joe on here) dad wrote it. (They are my friends so I have to push the book. You understand) www.lulu.com/browse/book_view.php?fCID=923376

Currently I'm reading Clive Barker's "The Hellbound Heart" For those of you who have seen the movie "Hellraiser", this is the book it was based off of. So far, the story is amazing! Although the film version of this novel is very well done, I gotta say that hands down the book is far better. It's alittle disturbing and is definatly meant for mature readers, but i high recommend it!

I am currently re-reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. It's good, but just like I read it the first time about 4 years ago, for some reason it can't really hold my attention for too long. About every 70 pages or so I just put it down and find something else to do when with all the others I simply couldn't put them down (especially the Goblet of Fire).
I'm aslo reading Moon Called by Patricia Briggs. Werewolves, Shapeshifters and Vampires. I'm really enjoying it.
I've just finished the Buffy Omnibus 2 and 3 and Tales of the Vampires. I've also recently finished all 4 of the Lost Slayer series. Very good one by Christopher Golden, one of the best (if not the best) Buffy novelists. Highly recommend it.

Wyndam...how was duma key by steph.king? I loved it. It is hard to describe it, but I would say it is easily one of Stephen King's best novels. Possibly his best outside of the Dark Tower series.
