Oh, good that "multiple voting" is againt the rules, then I won't be so tempted to do it.
Now i just have to decide which entry is the best. Either mine or 9 I think. I mean, it depends on how it's drawn. my could be gorgeous but I know that because I see it in my head but, damn, 9 is good and if it's drawn right, it could be so amazing. Or it could suck, whcih mine could too.... *realizing that I'm babbling*

It says on BCC that voting for this ends February 1st. I didn't think it was mentioned above.

I'm kind of surprised that several have no votes at all. I mean, no offense, but it seems like given the overwhelming majority already pulling ahead, one could spare a vote for themselves. They are all very good. It may be that those who submitted and are currently without a vote may be waiting until nearer the deadline where their vote can be used for themselves or for another - I can see not voting for oneself if it won't make you a winner but your vote could help make a difference among those in the lead.

That's so true. Sometimes, one vote can make all the difference.

Well, you bought the membership. And then you have to go back again and buy the subscription. They make it extremely confusing, but if you did those two things you should've gotten a notification immediately. *looks at the results* I think this point is when I say "darn" and admit my loss.

I wonder if the hiatus from the issues is the reason we have fewer votes this time. It seems that the last time, we had a great increase...and with new members because of the ads in the comic, I would've figured more people would've voted.

If they do a subscription like this again I should be doing the advertising. I suppose the company can't spam forums and other Buffy-sites, but I'd be willing to do it. Seriously. I wonder how mad they are at themselves. "We wanted 1000 subscribers and we didn't even get 20. This idea sucks!"

Crap, 9 votes from winning.... pretty good for a first try.
When will we be able to send in the next concept?

Probably quite soon, actually, as the blurb for #9 has already been announced.

I love that the artist (usually Stephen Mooney) is so quick with these. The TST/BCC newsletter said that the cover was already:
Our Angel After the Fall Comic Series with Exclusive fan-designed covers is rolling right along with issue 8 now in design submission mode. Learn how to take part here.

Kevin will be announcing the winner, and starting the Issue 9 contest soon! I'll be helping to promote this time around so hopefully it will get: A.) More attention B.) More submissions C.) MORE VOTERS!
