Angelus!
I think he's better at psychologically damaging an individual then physically, which made for some interesting moments. Plus, he's a hoot to watch!
Some of his lines from when he reemerged in the fourth season of Angel were twisted, but David's delivery made me giggle... “'Oh, god… Angel. Oh, Angel… we can’t. I love you but you were so bad. You ate babies.' Chicks…"

GLory wasn't really my fave either. Neither was Caleb.

I loved all of Buffy's Big Bad's (except for the throwaway, Adam). My personal favorite was The Mayor. He had the best dialogue, and most of the episodes that he was in were most of my favorite's in the series (Season 3 also happens to be my favorite season).

I think you'd be very interested in Season Two of Buffy Between the Lines. But it's still in Season One.

It is certainly an interesting idea and I'm looking forward to giving Season 1 a listen.

I have to pick Glory! Season 5 was when I first started 'getting into' Buffy and I thought Glory was great!

I loved all of Buffy's Big Bad's (except for the throwaway, Adam). I think Adam was very diminished by Maggie Walsh' early departure. I liked some aspects of his character, the evil in logic etc. but the circumstances of the season undermined him.

I'd have to go with Angelus. While Glory may have been a more difficult foe physically, Angelus was one of the only ones that could really hurt Buffy and the gang since he had been part of the inner circle before going bad. He knew them intimately, better than the rest, and therefore knew where to hit them mentally for the best blow. He was a calculating bastard but that's why I love him so.

either Glory, Angelus, or The First... Glory caused buffy's death (technically), Angelus got the closest to the slayer which is always creepy... The Fist just because it's the first.

My fave will always be Angelus in Season 2. That was just great.

Angelus was and always will be my favorite. He may not have been the physically strongest, but damn, he could get Buffy to a horrible place psychologically. He was able to play on everyone's weaknesses, especially hers. He killed Jenny and Kendra, which made major rifts in the Scoobies that were echoed years later(as we know see in Empty Place's script). Buffy had the biggest trouble with trying to kill him, and when she did it, even though it was Angel, it was the hardest thing she's ever done.
Go Angelus.

Chyeah. No one could mess with Buffy's head like Angelus. He was the Joker to her Batman.

Seriously! Or at the very least, something with Angelus torturing a Scooby so we can quote the Killing Joke!

Ooh, I'm having a really hard time choosing...the only ones I'm NOT tempted to vote for are the Master, Adam, and the First.
I think overall, it comes down to either the Mayor, Faith, Glory, or Angelus. I'd probably vote for the Mayor and Faith if they counted as one Big Bad (after all, they were teamed up), but, since they don't...oh, whatever, I'm voting for the Mayor.
