Hey, since i dont care and am just here for the ride i hope ur riight, but i do gotta say I love Dru but i have never thought of here a POWEREFUL enemy, and other then killing Kendra (they had to have someone do it) and being crazy, she never really did a whole lot on Buffy, and since Spike isnt going to be around too soon i just dont see a the point of bringing her back. (then again they did bring back Drac) But El Diablo Robotico you are right, have seen how Jeanty would do Dru, so your prolly right! Here's my rationalization for it being Dru: It's a chick, i think we can all agree. So how many powerful female enemies did Buffy have? Well, you'd have to define powerful enemy. I'm gonna say that means in buffy-speak: big bad. Now, who were the female big bads? We have Dark Willow, Glorificus, and Dru (being a pair with Spike, trio if you count Angelus). We know Glory is dead through Ben, so that leaves Dark Willow and Dru. Which one is immortal and could last until Fray's time? It being Dru would go nicely with the re-emergence of vampires in this dimension after the Battle-that-ends-all-Magick. She could (a) just come back with a few vampires who broke back in, or (b) as predicted earlier, she could be the very sire of all lurks (my personal favorite theory). Either way it seems that she would take a mentoring role over Harth. Also Dru may be crazy, but she was very competent on Angel, siring and nursing Darla back to health.

If it is Dru, I hope they draw her tall and skinny, she looks a little chubby on the cover.

I'm starting to think it's Dark Willow. She IS a powerful enemy from Buffy's past.

Nah not Dark Willoe, her face's and eyes shape is similar to that of Drusila's so i put my money on her...Beside it would make way more sense for her to continue the line of the vamps

Well with Willow being big with the magic now and some people thinking she has possibly become immortal I'm gonna say it might be Dark Willow.

She might be on her path to immortality but that doesnt explain why the vamp line was continued after the destruction of magic or why would she be allied with them..Whilst having drusila as the villain provides us with sufficient answers and makes more sense than Dark Willow.

I think this issue is really gonna rock, given the set up we've just had with 16. Joss is off to a great start so far, and I can't wait to see how Buffy and Fray work things to a less-violent cohabitation, and what's in store for us with the rest of the arc.
If, indeed, the speculation that it is Dru that's going to pop up, I'll be minutely disappointed that it was able to be called so early, just from the art, but I still would be eager to find out just how she managed to get that far ahead in time, and I hope Joss makes with the splainy without being too splainy.

I'll be really unhappy too so when it does happen (which it probably will) so me and you can vent to each other about it. Personally, I think what is going to bring Fray and Buffy together is Gunther. For some reason I think Gunther is still going to be caught up in evil acts, becuase wasn't he in "Fray"? Maybe Gunther will team against them and THAT will bring the two to join forces. Or, ya know, the obviousness of Harth.

Gunther definitely will have some part in the arc, because he's on the cover of the next issue, and very prominently might I add. But I'm guessing that once Buffy and Fray get the pleasentries out of the way, Fray is gonna head straight to Gunther's to get information about why Buffy is in the future, and how she got there.

I think the "evil past ennemy" may be Amy.

I think the "evil past ennemy" may be Amy. That may be. Although I think the past enemy is wearing that style & type dress for a reason (hinting that it's drusilla.)

i think that Gunther might not be allied with the evil forces for its way to obvious for anyone who has read fray, besides remember what happened in that comic book?Gunther wasnt the main traitor ..I think that his role there was a bit controversial in order to provide some mystery and shift the focus from the real traitor, inmy humber opinion i think that he will provide some rather needed assistance to the two slayers... Amy would eb a nice idea but she wouldnt provide us with a sufficient answer when it comesto te continuation of the vampiric line, whilst dru.. I wouldnt be dissapointed if i were you for we might know that dru will be te villain but we dont know how Joss will deal with her case..He might make a masterpiece out of it

I am nearly 100% sure that it is not Druscilla on the cover for TOYL part 2. Basing it on What was Twilight, Warren and Amy doing in part 1 apart from blowing up the castle. My guess is that they might have been sending Amy to the future or they could do it after they blew up the castle. This would be cool because magic is suposed to be banished from Fray's world and Amy is a fully practising witch. I hope it is Amy I think it would be a great twist and would make more sense than Druscilla. Her character is way to big to be squeezed in a Buffy/Fray/Harth/Kennedy/Vi crossover there is already lots of characters coming back never mind adding in Dru...who by the way should be on Angel not Buffy as she has more in common and a more interesting history with Spike and Angel. Also if you look at the link below and click on the cover then you will see that it does look like Amy on the cover and if it was Dru then she would have long nails, she has always had very long nails going all the way back to the time when she slit Kendra's throat to when she scratched Angel's face during her fight with him in the second series of Angel. www.geocities.com/josswhedon_fray/covers/btvs17b.jpg

What do you mean what were they doing?
I thought Warren made the missile and Amy cloaked it so it could get threw Willow's magic. Did I read something wrong?

I'm pretty sure it's Drusilla. The rocket that "sent Amy into the future" was too busy colliding into the slayer building.
It would make sense to be Dru because of the lurks in Fray. If it is Drusilla, she would have sired them, hence the vampire population.

And why would Twilight send Amy into the future? I dont seem to find a solid reason for that, besides jsut like smashed said they were too busy attacking the Slayer's Headquarters. If it isnt Drusila then how were all these lurks sired?Did they just sprung from the underground?Besides who says that it has to be squeezed?Last time when Dru was on Buffy and by that i donnot mean Spike's memories or the First's hallucination but the original good ol' Dru , she appeared for less than 15 mins on an episode in season 5 now thats called squeezed in .
