I am already imagining Andrew's squeals of delight when Dawn comes trotting up to them all as a centaur. He'll start spewing so many Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings references that the Scoobies will probably just kill him right then and there.

Is there a link as to where the covers came from?? Solicitations always come from Comics Continuum.

Not really the best covers I've seen but the variant isn't too bad. I kind of like that Buffy is driving, since it was a running joke in Season 3 that she wasn't very good at it. lol!!
And Dawn's a centaur!! Whoa...not sure on that one. I'll hold off comment till I see how they handle it in the comic.
Still not entirely convinced the returning villain is Dru. It could be a returning villain from the comics, possiblily Twlight makes a return in this arc. If I'm wrong I'll eat my words, but I haven't seen anything that directly points to Drusilla.

There seems to be a theme of Greek mythos going on. On the variant, you can see under the car the bottom of a golden statue. I think this is Atlas, the titan who was cursed to hold up the heavens. <-----edited. Thanks Wenxina And then there's the Dawn/centaur thing. Suicide in response to grief over the death of a husband is considered a noble act of self-sacrifice. Hylonome also means literally "browser of the wood". I think that definitely ties Dawn to this theme of self-sacrifice. Two thoughts. - That this change in form is a manifestation of her guilt to Kenny
- That this is also a foreshadowing of a self-sacrificial and altruistic act on Dawn's part

Dawn is looking' hot! I'm not a big fan of the Buffy logo on the variant cover either. I feel bad for Dawn, how is she going to the bathroom now? Have you guys seen a horse poop? At least they're not giant turds. Where does she stash those things anyway? And if that is Drusilla, I want to see Jo Chen draw her on a cover. I hope she doesn't die too. It seems all the members of the "Fanged Four" are dying or going away. Darla is dust, Angelus is repressed. Is that the same with Spike? Since Spike has a conscience, is William the Bloody repressed too? Have you guys seen her with blond hair? FREAKY! And what's up with Kenny? Does he have magic sperm or something?

i also agree w/ everyone that jo's michelle likeness is a off in this new cover. I have to disagree... I think the likeness is just fine. I mean the nose is a little off, but she's still recognizable!

There seems to be a theme of Greek mythos going on. On the variant, you can see under the car the bottom of a golden statue. I think this is Atlas, the titan who was cursed to hold up the world. Technically, Atlas was cursed to hold up the sky. But he is often depicted as holding up the earth, coz, how do you really depict holding up the sky? I actually really like the variant... in fact, this is the only variant of the Time of Your Life arc that I like so far. I mean, there's Buffy's inability to steer, big holographic/neon title, very art deco-ish architecture (the Atlas statue is very art deco-ish in design... anyone who's played Bioshock will probably know what I'm talking about), flying cars, and geeky pop culture references (the Starfury bit). The other one... I'm signing it up as a mislead for now... because, a centaur? Really? C'mon. I thought that giant was stretching it (pun very intended), but half-horse? May be the last straw of credulity leaving me right here. But since the style's very dream-like, I'll sign up with the camp that thinks that maybe it's more symbolic than literal.

This cover reminds me of the Buffy Tarot card deck. Its well drawn and very beautiful but I have no idea whats going on. I guess we'll have to wait for a little context. Centuar Dawn? Well she was always complaining that she had no powers so being a giant and then a goat-girl may make her wish she hadn't.
I love the magical STD thing someone suggested. That is just too perfect for the Buffyverse.

If she was a goat-girl, she would be a satyr, not a centaur.

I have seen that before and I can see why you might think it's Dru since that kind of looks like her & the new spoiler mentions an old adversary. However right now it seems odd to have Dru come back without Angel or Spike being involved since she has always been connected to at least one of them in all her appearances. S why have her solo now? I guess I'm still going to wait until I read that issue before I believe it.

I would imagine Dru going "solo" because she's been abandoned. She used to have a family, but now Darla's dead and Angel and Spike are all on the good side now. It makes sense that she would seek to make her own group again, I think it would be a comfort for her. Either she's the sire of all lurks (as some have theorized before) or she's taken Harth under her wing and is teaching him to be a naughty li'l boy.

Something interesting was mentioned by a poster on Whedonesque, that I hadn't thought of:
What if a Thricewise gets it's name by having spells that cause things in THREE's. So turning giant was the first, centaur the second, and one last transformation? It could be potentially bad for Dawnie if they don't get to the bottom of this soon! I don't know why Buffy seems okay with Dawn being gigantic. It's o.o.c., to me.

Oh my God, Dawn's a centaur?!! Lol so it looks like the curse/spell put on Dawn is turning her into mythical creatures...cool Second thought after 'Dawn's a centaur!' was: 'Oh my god, Buffy's driving!'. No wonder Fray looks worried, there's way more potential badness when the car is flying. I love the magical STD thing someone suggested. That is just too perfect for the Buffyverse. It'd be funny except she didn't sleep with Kenny the Thricewise, she slept with his friend. So Kenny put the whammy on her. I love the idea that these transformations are coming in a three-hit combo. What could Dawn turn into next? And yes, Buffy's lack of concern verging on annoyance is OOC - any problems involving Dawn's safety/health normally bring out the softer side of Buffy.
