wow. time travel?? now it's getting super comic book-y. but i'm sure joss can pull it off... i don't think it's too far stretched since we had time travels in angels "time bomb", so it's a possible scenario in the buffyverse. and in this exact universe things like time-altering (illyria again) and witchcraft occur all the time. other examples: the demon sahijan from angel, he could travel in the future or in the past. or what about buffys trip to the past in "get it done"?

Wow, cooooooooooooooooooll !!!
Karl Moline doing the art? Praise Jebus! His work on Fray was amazing
I wonder if this will be related to the panel in Angel: ATF #4 of Spike in the future holding a scythe-style axe?

Maybe like Buffy seeing Spike in the distance but by the time she gets to him he is gone!

I am too excited about this...
Also, there's a Karl Moline sketch of Buffy and Fray in the back of the Fray TPB, for anyone interested in how Buffy is going to look in issue 16. I'll try ghetto scanning it later, if that sort of thing is allowed here.

Off to get the fray TPB now. Whats up with the red scythe? Does it change colour over time??? Maybe there's 2 scythes 1 good 1 evil, or the first one is somehow broken or upgraded perhaps by willow. Can't wait

WOW!!! Jo's cover is amazing, but Fray?! Did not see that one coming!! I will be happy if Moline does all the art in the arc, I just loved his work in Fray. Thanks GB! I have the TPB but I didn't notice that sketch. Will have to take another gander. Really don't know how I will stand it not reading this one for four months. So excited!!

I hope this arc turns out to be good as Im sure it will but Im not too sure about the unneccessary change of artist for a whole arc. Okay yeah on one hand its nice to have Karl Moline back on Fray but Ive kinda got used to the idea of Georges Jeanty as the artist of the series and am used to him bringing buffys characters to comics. I would understand if it was a standalone change of artist but a whole arc... Maybe they could split the arc by having Georges doing the scooby gang present scenes and Karl doing the future Buffy meets Fray scenes? I think that Karl Moline's Fray art was way too cartoon like whereas Georges' is more true to real life. Oh I dont know whether I like it!

On one hand...I'm not a fan of cheesy Time Travel stories...on the other hand...Fray is one of Whedon's best characters so I'm definately stoked about an entire arc featuring her. Also, with Buffy alone in the future it looks like we'll get some solid Buffy development. Essentially giving Buffy an arc all to herself (and Fray) will really help the character (kind of like how Faith is probably the character who's developed most so far in the series but mainly because she had almost four issues devoted to her) so bring it on!
Also, I always loved Fray's art so I think it's a great idea to bring back Karl for the arc.

Awesome cover. I've never read the Fray comics so I hope this comic won't be confusing for me.
