Angel "After the Fall" comic has multiple covers per each issue. What I want to know is if there are people like myself who endevour to obtain all of the available covers. So far 7 issues have been released (as of June 7, 2008) with a potential of 35 different covers (I think). Does anybody have an accurate count. It seems each issue has a new cover when it comes out in 2nd print, so don't forget to take those into account.
Of these I own 29, How many do you all have??? Just curious.

I only have seven, one for each issue. It'd be just too much money for me if I started getting them all, and collecting them would make me mad because I'd know I couldn't get them all. I do own the sketch variants of issues 3 and 4 though, the comic shop near me ran out of regular ones.

I only have 7 as well, and those 7 are whatever TFAW sent me. I'll collect the HC's though which will have all the covers. That's all I need.

I've only gotten one copy of each. Unfortunately, there've been too many covers that I just really didn't like and had no urge to buy. Plus, some of the variants (the "virgin" ones, and the ones from the Angel:Interaction contest) are limited editions that are pretty expensive and/or hard-to-come-by.
I am collecting all the "Buffy" covers, tho, because you can get the variants at cover-price as they're released, and there's hasn't been a single S8 cover yet that I just haven't liked. And the fact that they've only had one artist (Jeanty) on the variants, and two on the "main" covers (Chen, Foster), gives them a consistency that the "Angel" covers haven't had, with they many, many artists they've used...

For the most part I only have one cover for each issue, but the last three issues I've managed to get multiple covers. Not by choice of course, my mother bought them for me. Like the others said, I really don't feel the need to collect all the covers.
As for the number of issues so far, I think there is 41 different covers. I think I've got 12, seven plus 5 variants for the last three issues.

I have collected every cover I can get my hot little hands on, and dragonweaver is correct, there are 41 covers, including the director's cut and the special wedding edition of issue 1...I have 40 different covers...can't seem to manage to get my hands on that wedding edition as it is usually 300-500 dollars on ebay!! boohoo.

Nope, like the Buffy comics I have only bought one of each comic and sealed it away and it only sees the light of day if I want to read it. Just like my Buffy DVDs :-o

Lots of different responses. Cool. Now can you please explain what you meant by the ANGEL WEDDING ISSUE as I have neither seen nor even heard of this. Does anyone have a picture of it AND is it part of "AFTER THE FALL" . kudos on the guy who owns 40 covers. He's got me beat as I only have 29. Has anyone noticed certain covers vary as far as pricing goes. What I mean is I've seen online at TFAW a virgin cover (as an example) of Angel going for $24.99 but at my local comic book store it may only go for as little as $9.99 - $14.99.
One other question, does anybody own the Buffy season eight issue 1 RARE cover (sketch) going for around $80 because only 1000 were made? I'm slowly working up the courage to buy that one. But what I want to know is why do some 1000 copy issue's go for $80 while others like the new LOCKE & KEY sketch (100 copies only) goes for $9.99 or less?
I know this is too many questions but I am quite naive when it comes to comics and am just trying to learn the ins and outs. Still, nothing out there is better than either Angel season 6 or Buffy season 8. Does everyone pretty much agree with this statement? As if anyone logging into this site would disagree huh?
Thanks for your continued responses to my survey as I find all your answers fascinating.

Lots of different responses. Cool. Now can you please explain what you meant by the ANGEL WEDDING ISSUE as I have neither seen nor even heard of this. The Wedding Addition! Franco Urru made this for Brian Lynch. There were some for sale, but I don't know if you can still buy them. Its just the first issue with a different cover.

Being on a very limited income, I just stick with the one myself. Any other covers I just download the smaller res images from online.

I bought 2 covers for the first issue. Now I just stick to the one I like the best. I really don't like the idea of variants.

Unbelievable!! I have honestly never seen that cover. Who is that getting married? I see Angel and Spike flanking the couple but who exactly is the couple? Thanks again. I believe that it is Brian and his wife that are getting married on that cover. I had never seen that cover before, but it certainly is cool! I would feel so lucky if I ever got my hands on one of those.

My local comic book store does not carry the 2nd printings of Angel which explain why I don't have those. I will have to order them online asap. As far as that wedding cover, I have a nagging suspicion that only three or four were created and given to the creators of the mag (Joss & Co). No way in hell folks like us will get a copy unless they have a contest or auction one off.
Hey wait a sec..Queeroid you say you own the wedding cover? If that is true am I out of line if I ask you how you managed that one? Did you know one of the PTB or something? And if you do own it, can I also ask how much you paid? It's ok to tell me to mind my own. The most I've paid for an Angel cover is $19.99 for issue 1 virgin cover. Can I also ask you if you bought the Buffy season 8 issue 1 sketch where only 1000 were issued? It goes for $80 at my local comic book store.

Hey wait a sec..Queeroid you say you own the wedding cover? Yes. eBay is everyone's friend. Somewhere around $305. I would've gone up to $400. The second I heard about it. Also on eBay. Around $80 or $90.
