Just got my sketchbooks. Dawn looks okay, but there's something with Renee's eyes I'm a bit displeased with. I'll try to figure out how this scanner works and show you pics tomorrow. Btw, didn't patshand(I think I'm spelling it wrong) have a Illyria sketch? -EDIT Here they are And the back(I think the pic is the backdrop Jeanty uses for his signings):

I actually think that both your sketches look great. The Renee one, especially. I see nothing wrong with her eyes.

Really? They kinda remind me more of Buffy's eyes than Renee's, but I would have to take out the comics and compare to be certain.

I mean, she looks like Renee. A softer Renee than usual, but still Renee. The eyes are a Jeanty thing... most of his female characters have big eyes with the heavy lashes. I must say that I really like your Dawn... it's not quite Dawn as we've previously seen her, but a really nice portrait of a grown-up Dawn. She doesn't look like a little girl there.

Yeah, I'm glad for that Dawn looks mature. And like she's thinking of something. Reminds me of the last scene in Potential, both with the hair and the look.
She's been looking a bit young in the comic, more reminding me of her apperance in season 5, not season 7. It could be that she looks younger when her hairs down. Of course it's hard to see age with Jeanty's art unless he ads clear signs of age, like for example wrinkles.

Here's my cover featuring a headsketch of Leah. You can see the pencil marks in the close-up... which is pretty nifty, since you get to see all the rough pencil marks he makes before the ink. I'm tres tres pleased with mine.

Hey, Skytte. Can you do clickable thumbnails on your sketches? Since you're using Photobucket, it should be pretty easy to do. There's an option for thumbnails for sharing.

HOW DID I NOT SEE THIS THREAD SOONER!!!
I absolutely love all your headsketches so far, Georges is so talented, he captures our beloved characters so well, and they have a 'Georges'-flavour which I adore.
I'm currently emailing Georges to see if I can get combined shipping to Australia, I'd like to order a few of each.
How many do you have now Skyhigh? And Wenxina? Anyone else have multiples?

At least two of each. One to read, one to collect. I'm currently looking around for a mint vol 1.

Sorry, I missed your question earlier, Jess. I have 2 copies now. One of the second volume, and one of the third. I missed out on the first one.

I'm buying my first sketchbook, and I'm a total Pay Pal newb...I need serious step by step help! How exactly do you send the payment? Do you just type in the email address and put in the $25.00? Do you put your head sketch request in the email message at the end? Thanks!

For a PayPal noob, you're doing just fine. Yes on all counts. Btw, if you're interested, the second book is still on sale, I think.
