Awesome, narflet! Thanks *Blesses you* I'm not really seeing the difference between the last #4 variant already posted in the gallery, but I'm open to hearing the comparison.

It's just the size that different, it's over double the size of the other one - you can see much more detail.

I actually had a moment of confusion because I had saved the image on my computer then uploaded it into photobucket. For some reason, my photobucket account resized it so that it looked exactly the same as the other similar version of the variant #4. So I'm using the direct link to your uploaded image, narflet. Thank you for finding this art.

I'm not 100% sure in all cases, but I know a few and can guess at some others. The recent ones I found for no's 2 and 5 were from reviews of Georges Buffy sketchbook. I'm pretty sure that the ones for no's 8 and 9 were originally posted here, on slayalive? No. 15 was also either posted here, or it was possibly from the Dark Horse site in one of the editorials...I think it was the latter judging by the size. The sketch for no. 1 is from the Dark Horse 100 variant of course. As for the slightly different painted versions of no. 1 and no. 10 - I'm not sure about no. 1 but no. 10 was the first solicit image, before the colouring was changed. I have no idea where the variant colouring for no. 4 came from though. So, none of these are popping up now particularly, but we're just pulling them all together here.

Is it just me or are the variant cover here for 7 in the wrong color? Look here, where Faith's dress is green and her necklace blue www.imagebam.com/image/52130920811435/ Isn't that the final cover? I'm guessing that the black dress is a alternative coloring, like they had for the variant for issue 4.

I'm guessing that the black dress is a alternative coloring, like they had for the variant for issue 4. It looks black on the Dark Horse site. And it looks black here also at Buffyworld.com. The version you posted looks like the light contrasts have been amped up so that you can no longer differentiate between the flash circles in the background and the light reflectants on Gigi's tiara. Also, Faith's necklace is no longer red in that version. It could be an alternate coloring, but it definitely looks like there's been some play done in photoshop with the contrasts especially when you look at the background.

I'm holding the issue in my hand and it's definitly green-ish(the dress) and Faithäs jewelry is blue. The hair on Gigi is too bright on all images shown tough. And the background on my issue matches the ones you just showed me. Your do look more stretched too, compared to my copy.
Peronally tough, I would have compared the cmpletely black dress. She looks poisonous.

I got Jeanty's cover for #7 as I was still getting the comics from TFAW at this point, so I pulled it out to check as well, and Faith green dress version and blue necklace is the correct one. Faith is wearing the same green dress and necklace in the actual issue as well. Maybe they colored the cover first, but then colored Faith's dress and necklace differently in the comic, so they had to go back and recolor the cover.

Well, it's very unlikely we'll find the Original Artwork for such a cover change as this is the art that's released before the borders are added. If it doesn't match up in the Officially released covers thread, they can change it there. But I'm unable to update this version unless one can be found that has the corrected coloring and no borders added.
