Until this, we had NO clue a death was coming. Odds are we weren't suppose to get the blurb for the TPB until after issue 19 came out, but because of the LONG delay, the info being released now could of been inevitable. We should of read issue 19 over a month ago and we had no clue about a death. It WOULD of been a surprise.
Put this together with the info of the upcoming issues and Willow really is the only suspect. Whether it's Future or Present is the question. I think Joss' intention was for it to not be obvious, but the delays kind of ruined that.

If Willow was to die in the present day then they're would never be a Future Dark Wilow and then more or less a lot of TOYL would never happen. So Willow is safe. Here is my updated version of the Time Of Your Life TPB. I found the completed poster and added it to it. Take a look. file039b.bebo.com/14/original/2008/11/03/13/4505071064a9325082606o.jpg

I think it would be cool if Saga told Willow not to ook because is FDW saw her she would be able to trade places with her somehow. So FDW and Willow swap places and FDW dies, everyone thinks Willow is dead but she's in the future. And a new Fray series could chronicle what happens to Willow while she's there? Maybe her magic is diminished and she has to cope without it? Probably sounds like rubbish to you guys but I think it would be cool.

I doubt something like this would happen, but it's certainly thinking outside the box.

Yeah, based on what we know of upcoming issues, sure sounds like it's probably one of the Willows. But to put on my Time-Travel Nerd hat for a sec, if it's Present-Day Willow, then that all but guarantees that she must be resurrected somehow, at some point in the future. Because if she dies now--especially as a direct result of the events of this arc--then how can Evil-ish Future Willow ever exist? And if EFW doesn't exist, how can she bring about the events that lead to the death of PDW? For that reason, I'm sure hoping it's EFW, because I'm not up for another character coming back from the dead at this point. Buffy, Spike, (to a lesser extent) Angel, Warren, and even Kennedy (tho we didn't get to see that one). At some point the deaths stop losing their ability to have any impact, if they're constantly being un-done a short time later. It is possible to over-use a plot device...

Well the issue 23 solicitation was released today and... Willows mentioned in it, so I guess she's not dieing after all. Buffy, Xander, Giles, Faith, Andrew and Dawn have also been mentioned in future issue solicitations... I don't know who else would be considered major that isn't already dead... This leads me to believe FDW

I think the big shock of #19 will be who buffy will kill in the future, no one else will know except willow (who looks), leading her to betray buffy. Also for some reason i think Oz could be twighlight now, if the moon triggars the powerful change and Oz and he can stop this (season 4) maybe he can channel the power into becomming twighlight and all that animal rage maybe could cause the female are the weekess of the species talk. (moon power) I think the reveal will be buffy killing dawn considering she had to sacrifice herself to save her in season 5.

Buffy could kill Dawn after she and Xander had the issue. Or maybe it's a issue with ghost-Dawn and Xander.

We should be getting the cover for this soon... We usually get it around the last issue of the arc... I'm anxious to see it... I'm sure Jo Chen will do a beautiful cover.

We'll probably get Buffy and Mel on the cover, which would rock since we don't have a front drawing of Mel by Jo, on #16 she was falling off the building and on #17 she was standing on the glass and her face was barely visible.
If Jo can pull up a Mel like her #22 Satsu, this could be my favourite TPB cover yet.

Well I asked Scott Allie in the Q&A thread if about the Time Of Your Life TPB and he said that. The cover was done and it is beautiful, but we won't see it for a while until it's released on the web probably via dark horse website Oh well I'm hopping we'll get the cover before christmas. I don't understand why they can't show us it if it's already done

I have only read the First 2 TPB so I stopped reading all your Posts lol... anyone know when TPB 4 is coming out ? thanks. But killing Willow in the comics is like killing Cordy and Anya off =DUMB SH*T that it is .... so there is a DWW ? kill her then lol

Cordy and Anya were two of my favourites but Cordelia's death was so good for the show -- I loved how the PTB sent her as a message so she could pass the visions on and say her final goodbyes. Anya's death however was quite hard to watch -- the cut line that went straight down her was so awful. It was a good thing they killed her on the last episode because if she had died any other time in previous episodes I would be too upset. Anyway, about this issue, Willow has to be in it, she Buffy and Xander are the essense of the series, both on TV and in the comics. They started the show off and so they wouldn't die throughout it. That's my opinion anyway. Besides in #19 Buffy was in the past when she was sucked into the future so the Willow she killed was the future one because after that happened, Present Willow stepped through the portal and saved Buffy and they shared a moment where Buffy said she loved her.
