I'm not digging it . It might be the size of monitor at work but the image doesn't have a good focal point where I can start and relax my eyes on the image. Also - Willow's left eye isn't sitting on her face right. She looks like Mason Verger in the Hannibal movie. Ick! Buffy and Fray are looking pretty tight though.

Willow looks aweful!!! I hate to say it, 'cause I love Jo, but jeesh! Also Buffy's forearm looks strange... Anyone notice Willow's hair on the right edge? Looks like twigs or something. Kinda unnerving.
But I did notice she took special attention to the scythe design--kudos!

Nice cover, not really what I was expecting. I guess just having Buffy and Fray standing side by side would of been too much like the Wolves At The Gate cover and kind of dull.

I like it a lot, although Willow's left eye is huge compare to the one on the right which is kinda weird.

Nice cover not the best I'd have liked to see how Jo portrayed Fray's face on paper. Other than that it's nice.

I like it, but probably one of my least favorites that Jo has done. I just don't like that there isn't any background. Buffy looks great, Willow and Fray look alright.

Pretty cool cover for a pretty crappy story. I still must buy it tho.

This cover is intesting, its just a little bit wierd cuz Buffy and Fray llok like they're about to jump off the page where as Willow seems very 2D. Still its cool, i was expecting a side by side shot of Buffy and Fray but Jo brought an angle to it which is neat. I'm glad that he did choose to include Willow on the cover, and yeah her right I looks a bit bigger than the left BUT I think Willow's face might be turned on an angle and maybe thats what Chen was tring to do. I dont think the cover is dissapointing, the cool thing is its similar to what a lot of people were hoping for right? This is the first time i bought individual issues, i usually wait for the tpbs, I'll probably get this one too. Props to Jo Chen, i dont there's anybody who can capture the real actor's likeness like him.

oh and in terms of willow's hair it does look like it turns into thorns, some sort of symbolic meaning maybe?

HA! Another incredible cover from Chen. Only complaints though, however minor, would be that Fray does not look like herself (at least from how Chen had drawn her for the cover of issues 16 and 17), and Chen once again has given Gellar a little too much chest (like that's a bad thing...). Despite the breast implants, Buffy looks perfect on this cover. Willow looks incredible, though I have to say, a bit of a stepdown from the cover of issue 19.

My thoughts exactly, and this Buffy image is gonna be incorporated into the next layout. It's sweet!

I really like this cover with the exception of the background, with Dark Willow in the background and her hair flowing off and turning into thorny vines or whatever, it makes the piece appear unfinished. As for Buffy, it looks exactly like Sarah in terms of facial features and such, and I also like that she incorporated Buffy's orange dress from the arc onto the cover...the only other complaint I have about the cover itself is that Fray does not look like a real person, but that could be because Jo did not have an actress to reference for the character, so she worked with what she could....I really wish Jo would consider drawing the interior art, because she is dead on when it comes to resembling the actors from the show...I like Jeanty's work, but I would still like to see Jo illustrate some interior once or twice

I really, really like this cover..far more than I did the first one (which is my favorite). I like how Jo Chen had Willow in the background behind Buffy and Fray. I thinks it's a reference to the story inside. Willow's the one BEHIND the whole thing. I like the two different angles that our slayers are in...possibly to show that they are indeed on different sides...or different viewpoints. I think that the 'twig-iness' of Willow's hair might symbolize the Dawn/Xander part of the story...Maybe? I may just be trying really hard to make connections with the story and the cover. Heh heh. But I really like this cover.. And two more things, Willow's eyes are pretty much the same size..it's just the shading and shadowy-ness. (I zoomed in A LOT and found they're pretty much the same)..and Buffy's arm looks pretty normal..I mean it looks like a real arm. XD Overall. 10/10 on the cover! Can't wait to buy it.
LOL, I end up spending about 30$ per arc/TPB. I buy the TPB and the respective individual issues.

I'm personally a big fan of the cover, but i've also been heavily anticipating it's release.
I will say that I agree with the comment on Fray looking like future Gertrude from Runaways though...

Jo has done another brilliant cover, I really like how jo has drawn it from an angle view. Everyone's likeness is fantastic but I do think fray is not as good as jo's issue 16 and 17 covers.
