yeah laced green is when you're dealing with gangs street cuts etc. It's always best to get it from hippies though. hippies and nerds have the best weed.

It's more healthy and less addictive (actually completely NOT addictive) than cigarettes. Isn't it funny that something that makes me people lose money, get addicted to, and causes lung cancer is legal? Also something that kills people all the time due to mixing with driving, makes people get taken advantage, and kills is legal also? Yet marijuana, where there's never been an overdose (its impossible) and its not addicting, is ILLEGAL? It all has to do with competing with cigarettes because the companies would go out of business if it competed with weed. |

Never ever will I try it I know some pot smokers they are to stoned to function. I would not legalize it to many people would start doing it. It would be painful to watch people waist their lives away. It also is a gateway drug people think hay I could handle pot and it’s legal why not try/ legalize speed next?

There are alcoholics that are too wasted to do anything, and that hasn't caused alcohol to be prohibited. There are people who get splitting headaches because they're an hour behind on a soda break, and last I checked, no one's calling back Coke.
My point is that the slippery-slope argument is more often than not, entirely fallacious. Where else have we seen that one? Oh yeah, if we legalize gay marriage, more people will go gay. I'm still waiting for a logical reason for that ridiculous claim.

I don't usually post on this board, just post on BTVS Figs, 'cause I lack motivation to pay attention to two boards from too much weed. I couldn't resist this topic, though. I really don't think people should be against marijuana. Take it or leave it, sure, but I see no reason to demand it stay illegal. Even if you know someone whose life it's ruined it was illegal when they started and it was illegal when they became a burn out. But if you take a little time and do some reading (from valid sources, of course) you can find out real fast that not only is marijuana not that bad, it's not nearly as bad as things people consume every day like sugar. Sugar is more addictive than cocaine and causes all sorts of problems. But that's ok because sugar more easily regulated and the majority of people like their sugar. If the only worry is lung damage it can be baked in food or the THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol) can be dissolved from the plant soaking it in alcohol to make a tincture. Why not outlaw sugar? We would lose some weight and then the THC won't have much fat to attach to when we have to take drug tests 'cause we can't be trusted to make our own decisions.  Plus the negative stigma around marijuana doesn't help with moving towards using industrial hemp (even though industrial hemp has really low amounts of THC). Which would be nice if we decide we actually like our planet not incinerated. Industrial hemp doesn't require pesticides (unlike cotton), and it can be used for paper, too. It has lots of uses, though; not just paper, cloth and medicine from marijuana. I would rather smoke weed than kill my digestive system with alcohol or destroy my liver and not be able to filter out all the toxic crap that I'm told is acceptable to consume. |

I don't mind pot. My friends smoke, I don't. Tried it, didn't get anything out of it. Don't care if people do it around me, but trying to deliberately inhale smoke just doesn't work out well for me.
Caffeine does a better job of altering my mental state, and incense smells better.

Marijuana? My thoughts? I think it's best when smoked. Preach it, brother! If you´re an addictive personality you´re gonna get hooked on something sooner or later. Everything that can be consumed has a potential to ruin your life if - be it weed, mars bars, clothing/shopping or sex. Weed as a substance is about as addictive as linoleum. FACT. And for all you deity worshippers out there: "Man made alcohol, God made pot. Who do you trust?" Actually, I think I´m gonna roll one up right now. There´s some braincells that need killing... ;D |
