Does anyone else feel that the finale of No Future For You really screamed for a spin-off series? Also reinforced by the fact that we have heard nothing from Giles of Faith since (at least I think so)...
I thought this combo was fantastic, and I am really looking forward to their stand-alone, but I really really miss Giles!
Scott Allie has discussed the idea of a spin-off series for an unknown character or characters apparently.
Anyone else think this would be an awesome spin-off duo?

I agree vortigun, I'd love to see some 'Adventures of Giles and Faith' action. I dunno about a full on spin-off series, but an ancillary arc? Oh yeah! Spike got one, why not Giles and Faith? It'd be an interesting dynamic I think, because the Scoobies have never been about soul saving, they're more about butt saving on a mass scale. Soul saving was always Angel's gig, but the only salvation Faith is really familiar with is her own. And Giles has had to be big picture guy for far too long, so much so that he betrayed the trust of his own slayer, thus creating the schism that currently divides them. I think it would be very interesting to see Giles guided by Faith (Ha!) into remembering why the world is worth saving. A little bit of saving individuals instead of worlds could help him regain his focus, and maybe provide him with some redemption of his own.

It's been discussed when Issue 9 was first released that it ended with the feeling that a spin-off was in the works. It *did* seem like the perfect set-up, which prompted fans to ask Scott Allie if one was in the works. Sadly no, it's not. Faith and Giles will be rejoining the main storyline soon. No spin-off coming our way.
I'm guessing this separate/spin-off feel comes from the No Future For You story originally formatted as a TV-movie. In that case, they wanted to leave it open-ended with the feeling that Faith would continue on with her adventure.

Well Scott Allie has already said during a post here tha such a spin off was never intended. The ending to No Future For You was meant to just be a statement that here are there are these two people who have been through a lot and are now going to try and do soem good in the world. Personally I was expecting a spin off and would have loved it. NFFY Is still in my opinion the best arc so far and I would have loced a mini series like what Spike got in "After The Fall" perhaps just a 4-5 issue mini series to fill in the gaps between No Future For You and there next apperance in season 8 which I THINK is issue 25.
