Beyonce dosn't have a massive range of vocals, so in a way she is flat, now we all know who does have a massive range............. haha karma Mariah's a hot mess right now and i love it! Double Karma LMAO! Mimi needs to BURN all of her clothes, Glitter-era is over!! (but girl can sing!) Anyway I have seen both Christina, and Beyonce live...and X-Tina is better. Beyonce has an amazing, if loud voice. She does tend to wail a lot but that is her style. With that said, I love If I Were a Boy while I hate Single Ladies (Put a Ring On It)! The first is wonderfully written and produced, while the latter is clangy and repetitive in a bad way. Seems like Get Me Bodied but only not as good.

Thanks for the Karma guys!
- Mariah's annoying me myself, (says the #1 fan) whats with the marriage and shizz? I want her to be like she was back in 2005 all winning awards and things or 1995 but yanno...dont think that could happen.
- Aguilera does have a powerful voice but I dont listen to her music,
- and thats the song Phil ! "Get Me Bodied" I knew there was one song of her old album it sounded like but I couldnt remeber. Guess were just gonna have to wait for her album!

I agree!
RnB USED to be about talent.
Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey (early days), Gladys, Patti, Dionne, Diana etc etc etc..
Now it's all Chris Browns and Rihannas. But I do think Beyonce & Christina are excellent singers. And of course Leona.

No offence, But I really dislike Leona, she does have a nice voice, but nothing special !
The whole hype around her when she first came out here in the UK was annoying as hell !, she is not "the new whitney/Mariah", she dosn't even come close !.

Not a fan of these songs, or Beyonce for that matter. Her voice doesn't impress me like it used to.
also, as far as good singing voices go: X-TINA FTW!

Whats so bad with the current RnB? I like it just fine. Even better now that its very popular with the kids my age and I can get away with listening to Kelly Price. lmao. You know what I'm sayin'?

Heh, this song is actually rather addicting. ALL THE SINGLE LADIES! All the single ladies!

I wouldn't consider Chris Brown and Rihanna true RnB artists. They seem to gravitate towards pop with most of their songs. Or maybe it's the new thing where RnB songs are heavily influenced by pop. Kinda like the pop songs of the late 90s that incorporated a lot of hip hop beats and dance moves. But onto Beyonce...umm I think her recent singles are mostly just uplifting fun and beaty especially "Single ladies". I definitely like the ballad "If I were a boy" better.
I'm really into Solange's music right now. You know, Beyonce's lil' sis. It's heavily influenced by the whole Motown era of the late 60s and early 70s. I like "I decided" and love "Sandcastle disco". You guys should check out the music videos too. I think they're kinda neat. Looks real retro with the colors and outfits and wigs.
